Prospecter isn't working. i have the plugin, but dfhack says it isn't recognized.

What command are you typing?

The plugin is named "prospector", and the command you have to type in order to use it is "prospect".

Try "ls" and see what is listed.

It would help to tell us what version of Dwarf Fortress you're running, as well as what version of DFHack you're using with it.

Nevermind, reinstalled Dfhack and it's fixed.
