Ok, but the Bloodkin are meant to be a challenge race. Making children grow up faster would just reduce that difficulty by making it so there's not as much dead weight to carry around.

We could increase bloodkin skill or increase how many bloodkin come at a time

All modding decisions now go through me, since I have the raws.  And I say: overruled.

See, this is supposed to be a vanilla game with bloodkin, to make it easier to understand.

And you all took my suggestion in an entirely unrelated direction.  What I meant was an outpost on the new continent, by the sea, to watch for bloodkin invasions and counter them if necessary.  That's all.  The dwarves have already evacuated to the continent, and now they are waiting for the bloodkin to follow.

Sounds good. I have a rough draft for the plot to post here tomorrow or the day after for your consideration.

Oh, the plot is a communal thing.  I don't have veto power over that.  Just over modding.

Ok but the idea is that the only place in which the bloodkin have to pass to get the rest of civilization is where the fort is. The fort has to be a like a cork in a bottle to get inside (rest of civilization) you have to get past the cork (fort).

Not as well as I would like. I was going to open with a romanticized version of Steelhold and the origin of the Bloodkin, but I can't seem to settle on how vague the details should be if the dwarfs only recently evacuated their homeland.

I am willing to cooperate with you on this, Asmoth. I had some ideas of my own. I just haven't written up anything that resembles a story yet.

Simple solution: It's been a few hundred years since the migration before the Bloodkin finally make it across the sea.
Basically, not all the dwarves flee. The Bloodkin spend a long time fully subjugating our previous homeland and don't launch a large scale invasion of the rest of the world until the relatively recent past.
