Reactions do not currently work due to a bug, this is going to be fixed in the next release.

Most of the bugs are worked out, version 0.20.1 should be released by Christmas.

Presuming that the 20 wasn't intended to be a 2, you work fast. You work very, very fast.

fixed.  Poor typing on my part.  and I wish.  Most of this time was spent bugfixing.  I'm still bugfixing.

I know that feel. I just spawned kobolds that think they're goblins and albatross that think they're kobolds. It's an improvement over insta-crashing,but damn, invisible bugs, you scary.

Yeah.  By the way, your cremation reactions, to my knowledge, aren't going to work.  I know kind of what the problem is, I just haven't fixed it in my own raws because I don't know the fix.  As soon as I figure it out, you'll be the first to know.

Working cremation is in Genesis and Masterwork, you can borrow it.

Yeah, but those cremation things have... Interesting sure effects. Like corpses being stored in tool stockpiles. But I'll use then if I canmt figure this out by the end of the day.

Can't you get cremation to work by just using [NONE:NONE:NONE:NONE][USE_BODY_COMPONENT] as the reagent?
Granted, that would let you burn inorganic creatures, but it doesn't seem like such a bad thing, all things considered...

Pretty sure he's trying to just use corpse bits in a reaction, not cremate things explicitly. So far my corpse-burners should work, as far as I'm aware. IDK why his don't.

I'm going to check if Indigo's idea works.  It's not technically cremation, but in dwarf fortress it's effectively the same thing.

Edit: IndigoFenix, you have my thanks.  It works.

Alright, release 0.2.2 should be up shortly.  This release features an increase in the power of firekin in general, a fixing of the aura bug, and giving the melee oriented blazekin innate skill at melee combat.  Combined with their rock skin, they are extremely lethal melee combatants.

Also, because it seems somewhat popular, I'm going to work on the permanent imbuing next.

Alright, version 0.4.1 is out!

The newest version has two brand new features: The introduction of firesouls and the advent of the inferno stalker.

Firesouls are the greatest dwarven warriors, perfectly suited to fighting all firekin.  50% larger then even infernokin, they have the power to sap the strength from any firekin to increase their own power.

Inferno Stalkers are mysterious creatures that live beneath the surface.  Little is known about them, except that they attempt to hunt down lone dwarves and kill them.

Also, added a special thanks section to the OP.
