First to go into the portal is Dawnstar. He lands on the ground below, a touch bruised, but otherwise fine. He's followed by the rest of the party, save Abraham, who walks off into the darkness.

Isn't that the problem with women? The second you marry one it's all "I want better weapons" and "Let me kill all things we come across".

Love you, Cinder <3

((You scored a critical hit on the spider, which rolled low on his HP anyways, and the spider dealt 4 damage to you, and your max is 5.))

((Oh, right.

I wasn't extremely worried after the first hit, since I had my Shield up. First level wizard is all about choosing the right spells and getting good weapon proficiencies. Secondary Spellbook really helped out there.))

Cradling his wounded arm, Abraham searches his fallen adversary. What is it, exactly? Where did it come from? Does it have any useful portions that could be salvaged? Is it inexplicably carrying treasure? He then retrieves his arrow and attempts to gauge the distance to town. Is it worth trying to keep heading back, since he has no camping supplies on him?

((Actually, now that I think about it, I could have just cast Sleep then run the creature through, but I was saving that for casting on multiple creatures.))

"Right. Time for the old elven tradition!"

Travel an hour back towards town, just to avoid more spiders, then climb a tree and start preparing spells in greater safety. Keep my spare book ready in case I need to shoot some monsters.

Spoiler: Abraham (click to show/hide)

A new day has come! Sorry for the rather long intermission with Abraham, splitting the party tends to do that.

Spells will be updated in my character sheet (Especially since with my options at this level I see no reason to switch them). Also, it should be noted that elves don't actually sleep.

Indeed, tell the priest what his trinket has wraught.

Get stats of Pelor's sword. is it a longsword? Shortword?

I go with the rest of the group.
