Spoiler: Initiative (click to show/hide)
Cromwell brings a swift blow to the Krenshar, hitting it in vital areas to confuse and stun it. It shakes off these effects, but his punch still wounds it badly, dealing 6 damage. Algarius takes advantage of it's pain, and circles around, trying to finish it off. One of his blades finds their mark, but the Krenshar manages to writhe away from the second blow. The blade that hit penetrated deep into the beast's flesh, piercing something vital and finishing it off. Abraham begins chanting the spell Flare, but stops when the carcass hits the ground, dead. Dawnstar doesn't realize it's death quite as quickly, and ends up giving it an additional whack with his greataxe. Dinner is served, though not necessarily appetizing.

((Well that escalated quickly))

"Well, I expected that to be more difficult. How much time have we got left of today?"

How close is the sun to setting?

It's difficult to judge from the trees, but you'd estimate that it's around four o'clock. The sun, at this time of year, sets around five o'clock. With the hour of daylight left, it might not be worthwhile pressing onwards. Then again, rumor has it that some truly horrific beasts stalk the wilderness at night...

"I say we set up camp for the night, and cook this... thing."

Set up a campfire, if I'm able, and keep watch.

((No xp from our fight? :P ))

Algarius nodded. "I wouldn't fancy trying to continue on in the darkness."

Once camp is set up and meat is eaten (facing away from the others, of course, so no face is seen) hide and go to sleep.

"I need to agree that we set up camp, because I must pray."
Pray for an hour, (spells chosen at the end of the hour, right?)

I keep beating the s**t out of the corpse in till the food is starting to cook because I'm an moron.
Than I watch the fire, eat the food whin it's done(messily and like a slob, of course), and go to sleep after I'm done eating.

The party sets up camp. Dawnstar continues trying to kill the Krenshar, but to little avail. Caterina begins her prayers, while Cromwell cooks the now finely-chopped beast. Algarius slinks off into the dark to eat his meal, before going to sleep a couple feet into the forest. Cromwell takes the first watch, then Caterina, Dawnstar, and Abraham. Algarius is exempted from the watch cycle because, well, you can't find him to negotiate it with him. As you all rest, you have an opportunity to reflect on the events of the day, gaining 60 experience.
About an hour into Cromwell's watch, he spots a pair of bandits sneaking into the camp. They would seem to have not noticed him yet, and they're moving towards the sleeping figures of Caterina, Dawnstar, and Abraham. You can just barely hear them, but they seem to be whispering something. You can catch snatches of the conversation:
"...Only three of them!...said there'd be five...dunno, maybe he was wrong."

Use my massive bonus to jump checks to leap into a nearby tree, then throw a rock at Dawnstar to stir him from sleep into a rage. Try not to get noticed yet.

Startled into wakefulness by Dawnstar's enraged screaming, Abraham wakes.

"What in the name of sweet Nerull man? What are you yelling about?"

Cromwell, with some difficulty, jumps and pulls himself into a nearby tree. Safely in the branches, he takes a rock he'd picked up on the ground and throws it at Dawnstar. It hits it's mark, and awakens the barbarian, throwing him into a rage. You can almost see his eyes turning red, and he begins screaming in rage. He sees the two bandits, and charges them. He brings down his massive greataxe on one, shattering his skull and rending it from his body. The other bandit is horrified, but readies his weapon anyways. He throws a stab at the hulking brute with the masterwork shortsword he was carrying, and manages to pierce his armor, dealing 3 damage. Dawnstar, however, shows no signs of slowing down, and in fact, only seems angrier.
Abraham wakes up around this time, and begins shouting at the screaming pair. The rest of the party makes up the World's Heaviest Sleepers, since they STILL haven't woken up from all of this.

With a single lithe motion, Algarius emerged from slumber, went onto it's feet, and positioned itself behind the final bandit. With a swift stab, it non-fatally (probably) impales the bandit through the leg and forced him to the ground.
"Surender," It growled in a deep, harsh voice. "Or die."
