In its current state this game is really fustrating.

The way the camera works in first person makes moving around in houses disorientating and confusing and the maximun turning speed is very annoying, although third person can help somewhat. My guy staggers when he falls from a tiny distance (like off the third or fourth step) and seems to break his legs from very short falls.

I cant help think these things are there because "realism", but in reality I (and most other people) can turn and fall considerably faster/further than this.

The interface (while a fair improvement over the mod) still is quirky and inconsistant. You can drag things off the screen to drop them from your inventory, but for some bizzare reason, this doesnt work when you are holding the item. Its still a chore to open and close doors, as well as pick up items.

Ive had some fun moments though, involving interactions with other people. Eating batteris is fun too.

Just as a heads up, mostly to Aseaheru, because I have some of his stuff, but I haven't been and won't be able to get on DayZ for at least the next day, probably more due to a hard drive failure. Replacements are in the mail, but I have no exact idea how long it'll take me to get things back in a working order once they arrive.

I wish I could play DayZ but whenever I do I get an extreme bout of motion sickness.  :-\

Strangely enough Its one of the only games that I get motion sickness from, I think Its from all the motion blur when you turn.

Head bob causes motion blur, so disable that. If it doesn't help, then maybe try lowering some of the settings, I cant remember which ones lower/raise motion blur.

Post processing causes blur, though be careful, because entirely disabling gets rid of your visible health "bar".

zombies are still a work in progress. Even so, they've improved dramatically even in just the last couple of weeks. When I first started playing, they had no hit detection and would run through walls to chase after you. Now they only do that about half the time.

Cans can be opened with most sharp things.

One form of can needs no opener, the flat can of fish.
Also soda is remarkable at removing hunger, you can find fresh fruits, and thats generally it. Do not eat rotten fruit, and do you need a meatshield?

Strangely enough I usually can withstand head bobbing in most things. I believe Its a combination of the two.
