Because it's fun to role play a guy that's dumber then stone, BUT understands some ideas(combat, punching) perfectly.
Even better, I'm proud Orc so, role playing this guy is really fun and challenging
My int is 8, actually.

Yeah, characters too stupid would just be annoying. Think of Hodor. He's dumb, but he still can follow orders and do them decently.
