I started as an avatar of armok (mod) outsider, in 34.11, and went to a village. Killed every single inhabitant by punching them in the face, because I could.

The best way to demonstrate it to him is take a save of 40 year old fortress with 150 dwarves in it on a good sized embark with a volcano that just breached the circus and install it on his gaming rig and watch it bring his rig to its knees.

It was an accident, but damned brutal.
I started off in a town that was being attacked by an army. I left town with the lord consort and a hammerman, and found a set of asterisks outside town. Aha! I thought. The military! So I slaughtered the entire camp in their sleep, and the same for the other asterisks. Eventually I died after accidentally hitting the lord consort and failing to block his attack at my head, so I died instantly. Looking back at the Legends, it turned out I had slaughtered the refugees from the city. All of them. In their sleep. Even the children.
Of course, I just laughed my head off after spending a moment of silence for the poor buggers.

I attacked a butcher in a human village, knocking him out and then mangling his hands and removing all his teeth with a shield.

Yeah ! This thread is alive again !

My turn ! ;D
I abused fast travel's hability to stop the bleeding of NPCs. So that they heal from their wounds.
Using that I removed everything that could be removed from one NPC, which I called my test subject

I did cut/remove :
- his lower/upper arms and legs.
- his ears
- his nose
- his guts
- his tongue
I smashed all his teeths.

I stabbed all his organs so they appear blue in wound screen :
- liver
- heart
- one lung (two would mean death)
- stomach
- spleen
- pancreas
- kidney

Not to forget that I left him nice huge scars, to the throat especially.

At the end, he was fine.
Blind, mute, completely mutilated and literally gutless... But alive ! (and legendary fighter \m/ )
I think I then bit him as a were-creature to make him heal fully.

EDIT :
Hey ! Looks like I also made a "guide" on how to do it xD
Which adds to the creepiness of the fact !

Found a giant. Halfway through killing it I decided to remove all his limbs.
The operation took my tongue and cost me a companion, but I've done it.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I decided to let him bleed to death rather than be murdered by an NPC later.

I once went into sneak mode, crept up behind a Roc at its shrine, grabbed it by the throat from behind and strangled it to death.. It didn't even manage to fight back.

I've done plenty of dismemberment and joint breaking spams, but the more interesting cruelty I did was knock a Bandit into a river, hold a conversation with them, and brag about improving my swimming as they drowned.

That's hilarious. Videogame characters are OK to be cruel to, too.

A few versions ago, I got my leg bitten off by a crocodile. I beat it to death with my own leg, then made a crutch out of it. The crocodile became a week's meals and a nice boot.

I had a human character which became so proficient in killing things with his punches that I managed to one-hit kill a night troll by punching his face, exploding his head into gore. He had just killed my drunk dwarf companion I fetched in a market, who managed to somewhat soften up the night troll before eventually succumbing to the night creature's superior wrestling skills and dying. I like to think my adventurer became so enraged upon witnessing the murder of his fellow comrade that he released all his rage into his punch. It was inevitable.

Rest in peace Doren, the most loyal companion I ever had  :'(

I kicked a demon into an eerie glowing pit as a kobold.
