You try to eat one of the corpses, and find it to be amazingly delicious, before it begins to fade from view. You still feel rather woozy, though. You take the rifle and hug it, waiting for the dizziness to pass. While doing so, you begin to evolve once more. You change the color of your skin to the green of the jungle, and sprout a plant-like growth on your back.
You can't help but feel that this is sickening and demeaning.
Meanwhile, you hear a rustling in the overgrowth nearby.

Ok lets not shoot first ask questions later on this one i personally believe friends are more valuable then enemies. Since we are based off gene-stealers im going to assume we are quite equipped to do what they do best infiltrate a planets society make it crumble from the inside and call in the swarm. If there isnt as swarm to call in we can make one out of humans that are enamored by are cuteness or we could try to develop female humanoid traits and enamor them with our titties. Either way next evolve i think we should prioritize attraction so we dont have to work quite as hard to trick people. Which mind you tricking people is are best option since we are alone and i believe if we mate with other species we get little half breed super babies.

Actually that last post was ranting not a suggestion so here is my actual suggestion
Call out to the creature and the bush something appropriate for the cute persona we've been building also lets try to avoid using plasma because plasma will not leave that much biological residue.

Use mushroom to evolve a hallucinogen immunity, or resistance. Same with the plant that made us sick. Use flowers to evolve photosynthesis on the plant structure we have.

We could use the mushroom instead to develop a hallucinogen-based defense, probably concentrated in the bulb. We could adopt more traits than just photosynthesis from the flowers. Other options include nectar production and colorful (not camoflage-destroying) accents/petals. I don't quite know what to use the plant that made us sick for, as that's the only trait it had that we could adopt.

As for the rustling, hold the gun like our human showed us and approach the rustling cautiously.

((Alright, guys, I'm thinking of dropping this game. I'm not sure where to go from here, and just about any update I make just seems bad even by my low standards. Is there still any major interest in this, or should I just let it die?))

((This thread is certainly out there, simply because the things that we've done to this originally Class A: Killing and Eating Machine. This is why I love it so much. I check it regularly because it's a lot of fun.

Even the kawaii fight from earlier in the thread, though it was slightly counter-productive and it kind of detracted from the focus on the story, was absolutely wonderful.

If you honestly can't think of other things to do with the story, I could understand perfectly if you stopped this thread. Otherwise, I would very greatly enjoy seeing where things go from here. :3 ))
