I had this concept sitting almost outside of my head for a very long while now, and now I want to see whether or not someone would be interested in participating.

Short story long - it's a cross between Pokémon and Heroes of Might and Magic.

All nostalgia aside, the HoMM part comes from the fact that you're a bunch of heroes (still Pokemon, tho) in charge of an initially small state (not gonna call it a kingdom because there's no king, dumbasses) within an enviroment full of wild Pokemons (varying depending on where you decide to start!) that you can either fight to grind gather experience or try to persuade them to join your let's-call-it civilization where you can breed them (sounds kind of odd to say that), teach them new moves/abilities.
And don't forget about your own development, what with all those abilities & items.

Eventually (assuming I don't ditch this mid-game) you'll get to conquer other rivaling cities/states/city-states and unite the whole [WITTY NAME] land.

Some but not a lot of number crunching may or may not be included.

Because the actual region/continent/ is the entirety of the playable world here, in which there are multiple smaller kingdoms/states/baronies/tribes/what have you.
And you're in charge of one such entity.

Also, this HoMM3 theme is an underrated/overlooked gem of the OST.

Wouldn't you start as the lowest tier pokemon [Abra] and work up the chain [Alakazam]?

I'm not really sure how this sorta game works to be honest.

Be wary though, my knowledge of Pokemon (both in terms of mons themselves and the new mechanics) starting from Gen V gets really loose, so if I make any mistakes in that respect, don't hate on me.

Pretty much, unless he decides to grab an Ever Stone.

And this is fairly experimental, so... *shrug*
It might end up being the next killer RP or just another average-okay game. We shall see.
