Turn 055

What the hell are you doing.

The other guy just answers with the really bad excuse of being drunk in a magical arena. Wai, there must be a word for booze, right? Well, maybe the excuse is not so bad after all. Anyway, he just grabs his arrow and goes away.

That was a wasted turn. Yay!

Waaaagh!!!

"Whoops!  Think I drunk too much there!"

Grab arrow and run back to Mako.  Put it in his chest.

Intercept with a Clothesline.

[Mako spd:1-1=0]
[Systar spd:1+1=2]
[Robert spd:5-2=3]

While Mako rejoices about the take-down to the ork, he notices that somebody is coming. It must be that weird bow-wielding asshole. A pity that while preparing to face gim, he forgot about the diamond Ork, who quickly stood up and went to unleash his power into Mako:

[Robert pot:6+1=7]
[Robert end:5]
[Mako end:1]

A chain of lightning appears and zaps both Mako and the ork, arcs of electricity forming between the two and messing with their nervous systems at whatever speed electrons travel.

Mako now has:
[Paralysis]

Robert now has:
[Paralysis]

Goddammit! Now that asshole is back, and you can barely move!

[Systar str:2+1=3] ((Saved by reduced str requirement of the bow))

[Systar dex:4-1+1=4]
[Mako dex:6-1+1=6]

A fairly weak but precise shot is fired from the strange bow, but Mako manages to overcome the paralysis momentarily to expertly evade the arrow and strike back at Systar!

[Mako dex:3-1+1-1-1=1]
[Systar dex:5]

But the pain from his burns doesn't let he come with enough speed, allowing Systar to trike back!

Tripping:

[Systar dex:3]
[Mako dex:4-1+1-1-1=2]

[Systar str:4+1=5]
[Mako dex:4+1-1-1=3]

And Mako's legs experience a great loss of balance caused by an external object (aka, Systar's foot) which impacted against them with enough force. A loss of balance that the poor paralysed fellow couldn't overcome, which ended in him meeting the floor.

Mako is now:
[On ground]

Well, that ended up badly for him.

Hmmmm.

Hey, you, weird ogre, why can't we stop fighting and be friends?

It answers you in a high pitched and metallic voice, but what he actually said is either non-understandable, or behind your comprehension. You notice why its whole body is glowing. Runes with geometrical designs, carved into the cogs of the mechanical humanoid, are shining a silver light over its surface.

Speaking about that thing, it still wants to kill you:

The thing, now that your guard is down, pulled your leg and made you fall. It doeSn't really have an advantage over you, considering that it is condemned to be on the floor as well as you. But iT seems that now it wants to go for your throat. But, before that, your reaction:

I CURSE YOU OTHERWORDLY OGRE!

[Testurr dex:6+1=7]
[Thing dex:2+1-2=1]

[Testurr str:1-1-1+2=1]
You, despite being a weakling, manage to slightly bend the cogs that constitute the chest of the thing. It is unamused.

Testurr gained:
[On ground]
((Only in effect when not fighting against the thing))

Word.

MIST! PATTING WITH MACE FUTILELY!

Another scar for Igor's collection.

[Miol spd:5-2-2-1=0]
[Bigf01t spd:3+1-1=3]
[Igor spd:6-1=5]

Igor, possessed by bloodlust, decides that it is time to finish this once and for all!

[Igor pot:3-1=2]
Little sparks of electricity are heard, but none are to be seen. Plan B!

[Igor str:5-1=4]
[Miol str:4-1-2=1]

Miol is unable to grip`the Igor's grasp on his head!

[Igor dex:1-1-1=-1]
[Miol dex:3-2=1]

But Igor is neither able to bite his prey in such a small area as the throat!

Now, it is Bif01t's turn to plan the seeds of necrosis in the unfortunate bodies of these two individuals!

[Bigf01t pot:2+1=3]
[Miol dex:3-2-1-2=-2]
[Igor dex:5-1-2=2]

A little fog appears in front of the fighting couple, none of them being able to evade it, trying to kill or to not get killed, depending on which one of the wrestlers you are thinking about. Miol inhaled most of the fog, and discovered that now the numbness is getting stronger again!

Illness upgraded to [Necrosis] again!

And now comes the mace!

[Bigf01t dex:5+1=6]
[Miol dex:1] ((minus all that he has))

Cripple execution!

[Bigf01t str:1-1+1=1]

And the mace glances off, like if it had been filled with cotton candy or similar. The spikes still manage to scratch slightly the poor Miol, that by this time must be wishing to be already dead, but the good thing is that he doesn't actually feel anything now!

Speaking about that, hopefully disastrous magic!

[Miol pot:4+1-1=4]

A golden line appears and draws a shark, which proceeds to try to bite you, but not getting much in the degree of success, being immaterial and all that.

Speaking about lack of success, now your numbness has upgraded to [Numbness:V]. You will die next turn, unless cured.

On the other hand, you pain is gone! Not that it matters much now.

Yeah I'm just gonna continue to hit it and try to keep it from killing me, though. That's my action for the turn.

The worst part is, even once I kill it, I get nothing except a missing leg.

You die at a six exposure to lightning, which is only achievable if one of you has a malus to end, or the other has a bonus to pot. If you look into the tag, it actually says that Mako stays like that for 2 turns, while you only do so for 1.

You also picked some of that exposure (there were a 2 exposure and a 6 exposure, for a total of 8 points to distribute in a maximum damage of 7 due to the pot roll). I calculate the damage for each player over the total points of exposure . Actually, by rolling 1 point above, you would have absorbed less damage and he would have died.
