Turn 153

Travel to Magma room and breath on Redz

Plsnoplsnoplsn- ah forget it, i got something i wanna show you and i am immune to that

[Apprentice spd:6-1-1=4]
[Redz spd:3-1=2]
[Hippo spd:4-2-1=1]

Redz is preparing to do something, but he is interrupted when a freaking dragon enters the room with a murderous intent:

[Apprentice pot:4] (Fixed)
[Apprentice dex:1]
[Redz dex:6]

The Struggling dragon attempts to breathe his recently found fiery breath upon the rubber man, but finds itself coughing cinders. Damn. And, to make matters worse, it seems that the Rubber Man is attempting to counter-attack with magic:

[Redz pot:2+1=3]
[Apprentice end:6-1=5]

A small portion of the floor beneath the Dragon becomes a dark substance that tries to cling to the fire-breathing reptilian. But it fails to do so, and dissipates. Unfortunately for the Struggling Dragon, Redz has not finished yet.

[Redz pot:1+1=2]

Redz rushes to the dragon and shouts in his face. A faint purple mist is produced, but is it quickly blown away. Dammit.

The hippo cleverly uses this distraction to crawl the fuck away into the Southern Hallway.

PM

You keep trying to make this plan work. But first, you do some quick science to determine what to do:

[Pot:4+1=5]
First you get a normal amount of dirt, with normal characteristics.

[Pot:2+1=3]
You get a small blob of some liquid with a dirt-like color, which falls to the ground and flows away. Eureka?

[Pot:4+1=5]
Now you get a blob of a jelly-like substance with a dirt-like coloration, which falls to teh ground with a splat and flows rather slowly.

Progress!

To be fair, I saw little interest in the players. But if there is enough interest, I will continue this game. Bear in mind that things are bound to become less interesting if there are less players, and that just dying and respawning instantly is not something that I'm willing to allow, as it would just encourage a kind of suicidal metagame to weaken foes and then claiming souls with a fresh chracters that I'm not going to allow.

So, how about this: you all continue playing until you die, then, if there is enough players, you may get into the waitlist. If not, then I will grab the player with the highest soul count and grant him all the equipement he can reasonably make with his own wordlist, and then make him fight the rest of the story bosses, that are currently two.

I've been a lurker for a while, so I guess I might as well come out and improve the potential player count. Feel free to ignore the sheet it if you end up not wanting to throw new players in or something.

Here is Derm's list if that encourages anyone to join.

Flabort seems to be the core of the problem here; you didn't take fighting char that doesn't post into account.

Keep bugging flabort to post here, duh?

I fear that if I attempt to reboot the game now it will disappoint some people because I have to travel for more than a week.

I'll do this: After I come back (or if I have internet some days before), I will PM all the players, and ask them about if they want to continue playing. If four or more do, I will put let them play their final life and Beirus will get to fight the bosses. If less than them answer, Beirus will get to fight the bosses. If I get more than six players, once some of them die, the maximum amount of players is going to be 6 so that there is some kind of waitlist and prevent the suicidal strategy that I fear instant respawning can cause. In this optimistic scenario the game shall continue as always.
