Sure. So far my two ships are a super agile box, and a super bulky box, and there's a big snowcloudplow ship someone else made. We'd like to see your design.

Its not that good, due to paint.

Its also not something you want to be below, or attack from the front with aircraft.

Or something you want to try burning, what with all the metal. Shocking wont work either, thanks to wood.

I will try dropboxing it.

And I just cranked out another (without even trying to do calculations yet), The HOVERFIELD.

Think of a giant, floating airfield with almost no armor or defenses besides eight small aircraft and a few small guns.

Those look pretty sweet, yo.

That said, my drawing on flabort's ship is nearly complete. All I have left to do is draw the hovercore and mainspring (up to this point I thought they ran on steam, turns out they're clockwork. I'll still let people charge their steam weapons at it, though.) and since I have absolutely no clue how those should looks, they will likely look very wonky.
The lodestones, for instance, look insane because my attempt at googling pictures of them yielded me nothing useful.

Ideas:

For lodestones have caged rocks with rods, some in and some out.

For mainsprings look up mainspring on wikipedia and draw a big watch one.
For hovercores make very large lodestones.

For the Slinker (thats what I call the smaller ship) the inital stats are in the folder, but I havent gotten arround to dealing with the materials.

Question, can we have weapons in turrets, large bay doors or detaching segments of the ship?

What do you mean by weapons in turrets?
For large bay doors, make them like walls, but mark them so I know.
As for detaching segments.... Maybe? I'd have to see the blueprint on that one, really.

Sorry for the lack of update, I was sick yesterday and I'm too busy today to do any more than simple replies on the forum.

Thanks for the info. I have had an idea floating around in my head involving a large ship with turreted weapons and six sections that can act by themselves if needed.

WELL I DIDN'T

The ship is...
...finished.

I don't want to hear:
1. Why does the Lodestone look terrible?
2. Why is the Mainspring literally just a box with gears painted on it?
3. Why does the Hovercore look like some weird alien thing that looks nothing like the blueprint?
4. Why is your face so ugly?

Because, guess what, I'm tired of trying to put tons of work into this, and I just want to watch people die at this point, so I just shoveled a bunch of crud together to finish it, so I could get this show on the road. I still have to draw everyone's characters and weapons, but that shouldn't be that difficult. I'll throw together some junk.
