Be nice.  :P
So, Kinsey scale, is it a valid lens with which we may better understand sexuality? Also where do you rate?
I'm somewhere between 2 and 3... Although I certainly feel a lot closer to 6 when I'm spending some quality time with my partner.

On the Kinsey Scale I'd claim a 2.5, give or take a few decimal points.

Me as well however a one ish would also be likely considering my previously stated inability to experiment.

Right... that was all I meant.
So you are just innately not attracted to people with a cultural background similar to that already present in your family... Vector you are one weird kid.

Naw, that one thing is just my family tradition.  It's not a hard-line thing, though, just a "nice to have."

I mean, my second boyfriend was Irish, and I was serious about him for close to a year, despite my mother's objections.

Agree wholeheartedly. There could stand to be another set of axes for romantic desire, instead of just sexual desire. That or just desire in general. Lots of people have lower libidos, or are totally asexual and therefore off the Kinsey scale completely.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.

Let's see...

I identify as heterosexual, though there's a part of me that I guess would be classed as bi-curious.  To expand on that, I've only ever been attracted to women; I've never met or seen a man that I was attracted to on any level.  That said, while I have no interest in men themselves, aspects of some sex acts with men hold a sort of appeal to me.  At least in theory anyway - I've never put it into practice and the probability I ever will is approximately zero percent.

I only eat toast butter-side up because I prefer to apply copious quantities of butter to the toast as soon as it's, well, toast and molten butter tends to get messy if the toast is upside down.

I honestly have no idea if I could date or be in a relationship with a trans* woman.  My experience with both trans* people (I hope I'm using the term and asterisk correctly) and relationships/dating in general are both almost non-existent, so it's purely theorycrafting for me.  On a conscious/intellectual level I certainly don't see any problem with that scenario, but I don't know whether my subconscious would betray me there.

The Kinsey Scale test I tried just before posting this scored me an "F" - "The test failed to match you to a Kinsey Type profile. Either you answered some questions wrong, or you are a very unusual person."  I feel oddly proud of that.

(and I quite like polls)

Here you go

These were my results: Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual.

RE: Toast: I must be some kind of freak. I don't like butter on toast, but I thoroughly enjoy peanut butter on it.
