lesson learnt this morning..

don't expand horizontally when the river is on high tide

had a well planned canteen with wells placed..

dug a bit more to make more bedrooms.... whoosh strikes water.... water going all the way into canteen.. topples a well leaving a channel...

don't suppose there's anyway to rebuild that well in that spot?

lesson 2... open the pet door before their drown.. water doesn't always rush past a door

There's currently no way to rebuild in the same spot, since wells and floodgates have to be built on the floor, but they automatically build channels on the spot.  Channel filling isn't currently possible but is scheduled to come in with rewalling, whenever that is.
