After several hours of searching Swabbie Medraut finds the corner of a chest sticking out of the sand. Everyone except Captains Twobeard and Thunderbird who holler directions all the while helps to unearth it and haul it back to the shore near to the beached ship. The crew is at first dismayed to find that there was no key, and then screaming and running for cover as Annie Makepiece leaves a lit grenade crammed in the keyhole.

The busted chest is eased open to reveal a bulging burlap sack. The lot of you, being pirates, all begin fighting over it. After a few minutes of punching, kicking, biting, eye-gouging, and all together rolling in the sand everyone comes away with a single devil fruit clutched in their hand.
