I haven't had Everclear yet.  My brother tried it, warned me.  Thing is, it's alcohol - the burn you feel doesn't actually correspond with how much it'll affect you.

And apparently the burn was REALLY bad, heh.
But straight alcohol burns, too, in a similar way.  This is about twice as potent.

My dad told me about how the homeless folks around town in Norway would drink packs of hand sanitizer to try and get some sort of buzz. They started putting in more additives to try and discourage that behavior, but, well... When you really don't care anymore, you really don't care.

Would you believe I actually don't even have shotglasses at home? It's a travesty.

I don't have shotglasses because when I drank it was out of a goddam coca cola glass. At some point it would become too troublesome to make it back to the bottle so to prevent this I made giant half-liquor half-whatever-juice-i-could-find and just stay in that spot for the night, barring dancing by myself or shouting at the TV.

I've cut way back and the plan now is to only drink beer at night. Or expensive booze when at a restaurant, to help keep me from overdoing it. Most drinks are prohibitively expensive at restaurants, like half the price they'd be wholesale in Europe or Straya.
