But more on the point, I had to remove the mission equipment from Auron's sheet because, as said
here (and on the wiki) all the equipment will be stuffed on the shuttle(s) carrying the team toward the planet, everything can be divided once there. The idea is that Wednesday, I'll pm pw the list of all the stuff before actual drop so he can scrap what he thinks is too much (he very specifically warned 'Don't go nuts or we'll have to retcon later'), and nobody in particular will get shafted like this. PW already agreed to this method of doing it as well.
Though that
does raise the question of how, exactly, people are planning to divide the mission equipment. Will it be first come first serve? The law of the jungle? A fairly discussed division based on who needs it the most or could get most benefit from it? Only time will tell.
About now is the time when PW comes in and green-storms us all into stasis, right? Protocol Bored-Steve 3?
Where on a scale between "start the mission already" and "maybe we can plan something out beforehand for once" are you sitting, RC?
Well, if Miya were the original mission commander here, he'd be busy making plans and discussing things and such. However, this time Sean was supposed to do (or not, of course, if that's more his style) all that, this originally being his mission. Miya's just stepping in as an emergency override to ensure things
actually get going sooner rather than later.
So yeah, basically, if M24 people would like to have a plan, they'll have to come up with it themselves first and foremost for a change. I'd certainly advise in that direction given previous experience, but it'll be up to them in the end.
