So I feel perhaps the god of protection may be a useful ally among the available options.
I'll take my chances with reëncarnation.
But you could just, not die. At all.
If wishes were goblins, we'd all die.

Actually, if you let the guys in the Corrupt a Wish thread have your wishes, you'll all die or worse. :D

The question is, does reincarnation only happen when you commit suicide? Because I don't see Misty doing that.

You mean this journey to the fort, and most of our actions past that point, can be seen as a boon for Misty's life expectancy?

*Shrugs*

If it's straight up reincarnation without suicide, it might give us some freedom to screw up.

I'd rather take Bookfire, because knowledge. Magic cheese, maybe?

Reincarnation isn't resurrection or respawning, for all we know Misty will wind up as a cave fish, fluffy wambler, or elf in her next life. At the very least she'll have to wait 12 more years.

I know, but surely the kind and caring evictedsaint would give us a time skip so we could start over?  :D?

I don't think any of the voters took into account that Urist CCCVI is the weakest god of all of them. :P

I'm completely fine with worshiping a comically weak god, should Urist prove to be that.

That was for activity, not power. Being inactive doesn't neccecairily mean he's weak, it could also mean he doesn't do much or hasn't got a lot of worshippers.

If he doesn't do much, why would he help Misty? Besides cuteness.

Well, let's put it in another way; if there's an avarage of 5 years between your worshippers' resurrections, you're not really interacting with them often.

Perhaps on the topic of Urist one should take note of something.

We are talking to a potential ally who is a nice elderly dwarf nun.
So...what exactly do you expect her reaction to be if a very young dwarf tells her that she worships the god of Cheese and the god of Suicide.
Think about it, people. A teenager telling a kind elderly female that they worship the god of Suicide.

...maybe lets not?

Then let's refer to him as the god of reëncarnation. That's positive.

Hey, why would she be taken back? It's a god among the pantheon, she's heard all about him and has probably talked with worshiper of him. There's no reason why she would be so shocked about it. It's like saying hey, you got Vanilla instead of chocolate? I can't believe a child your age would think of such a thing.
