Be the necromancer. Be really lonely.

What would it be like to live in a world that was copy/pasted? Would we even notice? If not, how many times have we switched celestial harddrives or whatever?

I just hope he won't be like The Ice King from Adventure Time.

I don't understand why the necromancer can't just be a tyromancer, it would fit.

Plot twist - the necromancer has a daughter about Misty's age that wants to become an engraver.
Could totally use this to make a fancy restaurant to serve Misty's cheese in.

I want to tell you they were bad men, cephalo.  I want to tell you that with a better overseer the Fortress never would've gotten so bad someone would get offed in a pointless fisticuffs.
But the sad truth charlie?
It was inevitable.

Be the lonely necromancer's creepy-cute (adopted) son/daughter.  Commence deuteragonist subplot.

Ask if undead cows give milk. If not, conclude necromancers are icky.

Then:
Ask the farmer if he knows anything about plump helmet men. Because there is one following you all the time, and you dont know if its harmless or not.

A resurrected corpse would have to reboot essentially all biological systems. If the body gets infected with bacteria, it will eventually cease to function, so it will need an immune system. In order to move, it will need muscles, which will require the muscular system to work, along with the lungs and the circulatory system...basically if you do the math, robots are easier than zombies. For any critical biological system (which is all of them except maybe the reproductive system), you'd have to either repair it to working order or replace it with magic. Logically excessive magic is draining of resources so you'd want to use the minimum necessary amount, which would still be quite a bit. If you just want a doll you can move around with magic, use an empty suit of armor. Anyway, it's possible that the nature of necromancy is such that it's easier to reboot all of the biological systems than just some of them, so logically a zombie cow would produce milk.

In my experience, anyway.

You know that mammary glands are part of the reproductive system, right? The one bit you acknowledged to be superfluous to the undead? ;)
