You still don't get it, do you?
Of course they don't.

Anyways, suggested the weapon thing so our group would be armed next time something like this occurs.

Doubt they'll care as long as we don't try to give it to them.
Even if they do, we got it from the zombies.
We can pass it off as having taken them because we wanted to ask the elves what should be done with them. Or point out that the elf has a WOODEN bow.
And used arrows made with WOOD.
What about that WOODEN spear of theirs?
elves use special magic that makes it ok are you felling ok lyeos you seem forgetfull you should see a doctor

Dont forget the arrow thats in them then :P

Yes even without a bow arrows are mighty deadly..

Code: [Select]
[ATTACK:EDGE:5:1000:stab:stabs:NO_SUB:1000]
[ATTACK_PREPARE_AND_RECOVER:3:3]

Although if Misty is 6+months old her arrows are probably still

Code: [Select]
[ATTACK:EDGE:2:1000:stab:stabs:NO_SUB:1000]
Thus even MORE effective weapons.

Maybe if we tell the elves that we tried to tell the zombies not to kill that tree that, just ,just they would'nt listen and its just, just so great that the elves came by and rescued us..

Because we are on our way to ShieldDawn to enlighten them as to the divine nature of the arboreal form...

Surely they would appreciate that?  ???

aren't elves still cannibals? I suggest running.

Give them his head, maybe they are hungry?
im confused what are these 2 different bits of code for arrows and whats age got to do with it

The arrow coding is from one of the 40.xx versions, and 34.11, respectively.  The age refers to RL time, where 6 months ago (when this started) we were using 34.11 still.
Its the idea that the version of DF updated, but the 'world' of our cheesemaker may not have.  Quick, do a test.  Climb that tree!

Take the hammer.  Thank the elves for their help.  Tell the elves you are going to Shielddawn, and that they are welcome to visit for trade.

Ignore the voices in your head that tell you to do silly things (like talking to zombies that your former leader just attacked).

I bet those elves are bandits though. However, would bandits really save them?

Yes. This.

Anyways, +1 to all of the "arm up" suggestions. -1 to the "placate the elves" ones.

Oh, look! The zombies weren't friendly.
Kind of like in the game!  ::)
That's debatable. They were goddamn ninja attacking Rimtar, but only after he clubbed one of them. If it wasn't for the elf raising his bloody... rock or whatever, we'd have no particular reason to think waiting until we had finished talking to advance slowly on us was their idea of hostile.

+1 saying hello to and thanking elves.

Misty just turned 12.  She is officially an adult.  This is canon from earlier in the story.

Take your first steps into being a hardened individual. That, or experience sudden emotional shock and become a gibbering wreck. Also, try to remember whether or not you are currently at war with the Elves.

Love the update, and the perspectives of looking up/down to/from Misty. :)

But I had to think of a ballista, or at the very least a javeline thrower when I saw that arrow going through 3 units, a tree and had space to spare. Elves might have greatbows in the mod, but their singing arrows are supposed to be normal sized. But artistic freedom can if course make them pierce a tree...

... your elves attacked a tree. O.o
