Oh, how can anybody ever blame you for that? We've all had to face exams/finals/whatever you want to call them.

Don't apologize, do well on the finals!
And then come back and write stories! ;)

OH!  Before I forget, finals are coming up in these next couple weeks, so updates will be sparse.  Sorry guys.
Don't worry dude, we'll be wishing the best of luck to you.

Knock 'em dead friendo.

That sounds like the legend of the dwarves in Lord of the Rings, that Durin the Deathless will wake and walk the earth....again. How pleasant, except you are plotting for the hero to be a zombie, rather than simply a completely-restored dwarf, thus creating another plotline. Why not a C plotline?

Are you plotting to make this plot really complicated and interesting or just plotting to drive our wonderful story-writer INSANE with extra plotlines?
It just seemed to me like the ripe-for-the-picking corpse of a demigod war-hero just sitting around, wasting away in the near vicinity of a necromancer would be an awful shame.  Or maybe he has already been resurrected and is commanding his zombie army to build roads Roman legion style?  Old dogs, you know.
Good luck on finals!

Indeed!  You will have time to write and draw more later - exams are *now*!

Hey, don't sweat it, finals are always top priority. Besides, you've given us a lot of updates in a short period, so it sort of balances.

(Anyone else have any stories that can compare to a man being beaten to death with his own trousers by a giant gopher?)

I would have sigged this if it was text.
(And if I would have had space in my sig.)

The best way to demonstrate it to him is take a save of 40 year old fortress with 150 dwarves in it on a good sized embark with a volcano that just breached the circus and install it on his gaming rig and watch it bring his rig to its knees.
