Next comic breaks the fourth wall.

Also ES, may I ask what hardware you use to draw (such as drawing tablets/touchscreen styluses) and what software you use (Photoshop/paint tool SAI)?

I use a Wacom Bamboo tablet, and a version of Photoshop CS6

Misty should secretly make a cheese and present it to someone important as proof of the worth of this noblest of professions.

Next comic breaks the fourth wall.

They did do that a little bit... and that can get very silly very quickly...
Could you please give me an example of an episode in which they did that?

The best way to demonstrate it to him is take a save of 40 year old fortress with 150 dwarves in it on a good sized embark with a volcano that just breached the circus and install it on his gaming rig and watch it bring his rig to its knees.

IIRC, the stuff about Armok/religion might have been like that... the first room joke was good, but too much actual DF gameplay integration would get annoying, as would the whole "overseer" thing, with one dwarf theoretically representing the player.
