Wolf, maybe it's different in Spain, and the fact that I'm a "special case" but here's how university and high school go.

Last year of high school is a month shorter than the rest, and there's almost as twice as much to learn than the previous one.
That month is dedicated to study for the university access test, which is a series of tests about every subject that takes three days.

Then first year of university is very general subjects, just a little focused on the career you chose.
Second year is quite hard because it's focused but quite broad so you have to study a lot.
Third year, where I am, is a lot more focused so there isn't much to learn. For example every subject I have is related to genetic engineering and they overlap in a lot of areas.
Fourth year is mostly made of optional subjects, projects and working in proffesional labs and such.
After that it's the master (I think you call it minor in USA) and doctorate or whatever you want to do.

Btw I should note that in what I'm doing there's less than 40 people each year.
And Tiruin, yes the big guns roll here. I've definitely seen some big guns around here :P

Solymr, you say you are in college?  How hard would you say it is compared to high school, particularly the last two years.
This could be asked as a generality as i believe most Mafia players either are, or have passed through college. :p
Some of us passed through college a while ago >_>

College was harder than high school for me, but that's because I enjoy inflicting pain upon myself and took the math-heavy computer science path as opposed to the more business-oriented path.

I think some of it comes down to the teacher, and some of it depends on how naturally good you are at a particular subject.  I never really felt like I had much of a problem in grad school, but I never really had much of a problem in computer science classes in general.  Except COBOL.  Fuck you COBOL.

So, really, it can just vary by quite a bit.

...I'll post it somewhere, someday. I don't forget easily.

...I envy your workload. Third year is hell year. Fourth year is easy cruising if you survive third year. I survived but shifted due to 'hey I found a course wherein I can be happy with :D'

Here is exactly like that except second year is hell and third is ballscratchin all day errday. Except this week I'm buried with stress. Still not losing my sleep though.
I even plan on doing physics after this ends. Or after I get my project going.
Man I'm so sleepy now I don't even

Make time for sleep. You'll need it or else you'll be lacking in all aspects of your waking life.  ;D
I mean it.

I make sure I get 8 hours of sleep daily.
Well it's actually me falling like a brick but heck it's good.

Except COBOL.  Fuck you COBOL.

*looks at Shakerag's profile for his age*

Seriously?  COBOL?  Maybe if you were 10 years older...

But I apply the same feeling toward Scheme and Squeak.  I'm not sure why they felt like throwing obscure languages at us, but there you go.

If you pronounce it, it still goes the same way correctly :P (Tee-roo-in)

Also, since my school year officially (or..70% officially :v) starts in August (yay transition. Thank you K+12 program... >.>), and i've two months to spare...Anyone have a good idea if I should take a break from Mafia?
It looks best if I should.
I guess like I should.

That's one heavy concussion. .__.
You're joking, right?

OH, anyway there's something I was thinking of asking. How does the educational system feel there? As in, for the Philippines we're transitioning to the..erm, kindergarten + 12 years of education (wherein we usually graduated a 4 year college course at, like, 21 years old, with freshmen usually at around 17 yrs old age) or also known as K+12 program.

...
So I'd love to know how this works out in other countries. I'm against it..but well. Anyway. I won't be part of that new generation...

In Spain it's about the same except apparently we're one year behind, we come out of high school usually at 18. And I say usually because I finished with 17.
They don't have much for gifted child here :/ how's that around there?

And I don't know if tongue concussions are even possible :P
