What happens if you leave the arrows in ? Would having a couple hundred stuck in you block more attacks?

I tend to make sure that I'm not someone else's living sheath, so I'm not too sure of what may happen. Someone above mentioned that it may inhibit healing, but I'm not sure of how true that is.

I do know that an enemy may be able to grab the arrow and rip it out of you in combat, which can make you bleed quite a bit. The arrows won't help in combat, and are basically a hardcore decoration.
