Long did it think, but finish its thoughts it did not, for it heard the rustling of forests that grew in darkness eternal, lit only by the dim glow of the Aether around them, and it saw the ancient treants wandering in the gloom. Another called to it, and its thoughts strayed back to its fledgling plan, and then to its mortal days in millennia long past. It remembered the golden light of the sun as it shone through leaves, and the dazzling gleam of rainbows in the spray of seawater at the prow of a ship.

It gazed upon the waters, and saw that they were dark and still.

Resolute, it stood up and said a word. The word was ancient beyond reckoning: it shook the masses of the Aetherius and set them in motion, and an orb of brilliant light blazed into life. To it the Wanderer said another word, this one quieter - one of its own. The new sun heard the Wanderer, and set out on its journey around the three planets. A still-quieter word the Wanderer whispered after it, and made the sun gift its light to the Luminox crystals that Virumlix had made.

The plane of the Terra Firma was cast into a swirl of light and shadow, and the motion of the sun made tides on the Great Seas. The Wanderer nodded, content. The time was nigh.

Create the sun and set it into motion. It will make three rotations around the largest planet, then one rotation around the middle planet and one rotation around Discord, because of what Wolf the Caretaker asked. Link the sun to the Luminox crystals to make their energy-gathering more efficient.

He slipped into the world after it had been made and others had entered. The Trickster cast his gaze about and saw a configuration of worlds that he was unused to - strange simplicity and yet innovation on the part of their Originator. But the others he spied were the same as ever - they made, they sculpted the universe their Overgod had made into twisted reflections of their own psyches, created without asking why. It was almost as if they'd had this information programmed into them and now spread it endlessly - for immortals, these gods always longed for the familiar - what they called sun, a sky, land to make adoring legions of followers on, to build a domain on. They longed for substance.
The fools.
He heard the Word spoken by the creator, and shifted in discontent. He had intended to steal language from fate here, for the originator of it would have great power over all instances of it.
The Laughing One was seized by a sudden burst of bitterness as he gazed upon the world as it was becoming - merely another repetition of the same concepts of consciousness he had seen throughout countless eras, no innovation, no difference - they made imperfect dolls of mud and wood and air and they thought themselves worthy of the power they squandered recklessly? He snorted, and then caught his breath as it left his nostrils - he would need it. He took it in both of his three hands and breathed his bitterness into it before tearing it in three. He then released them, and watched as they went to what they were bid to do.
The first segment ghosted down to the first tree from the darkness above. It roiled and frothed as it glided down the trunk of the tree and spread out amongst the base. It would soak into the hearts of those who were set to guard it and be forgotten, stiffening them and slowing their minds. No longer would they be stalwart guardians of the World Tree; instead they would sleep often, and it would be possible for the clever to escape their notice if they wished to go to the World Tree.

Split an Act into 3 Minor Acts.
1 Minor Act: Curse the Treants with lethargy, causing them to sleep for long periods and be slow in their thoughts and bleary in their eyesight.

His second breath became even more insubstantial as it wound its way round the minds of the ghostlike beings on the second sphere of rock, swelling them uncomfortably and elevating their perceived visions of themselves. No longer would their pursuit of knowledge be purely for its own sake, but instead out of a ravenous desire to advance their own interests. He had excised trust from among the Specters.

1 Minor Act: Curse the Specters to have extreme amounts of arrogance as a racial trait, as well as narcissism, paranoia, pride, greed - essentially, turn them all into sociopaths.

Finally, his breath travelled to a race still being birthed from their godly womb. They were the most fragile of the mortals, and comparatively children, so they were made as such.

1 Minor Act: Curse the forest elves to have the personalities and morals of small children - a bruter kind of psychopathy than the Specters, but still selfish, lacking in common sense, innocent of atrocities even as they commit them, etc.

The necessary imperfections given, Trickster divorced himself from his breath. He knew this dance of gods well, knew their easily-nettled pride, and wisely hid himself from them for now.

1 Act: Remove any traces of Trickster from the breath that corrupted the mortal races to prevent the vengeful gods from knowing his identity - in meta speak, disguise my acts so the other players don't auto-know it was me.

Book 2: Mortality
Chapter 1: The Origination

The Caretaker soon began shaping the world that was claimed as his own, creating all the creatures and minor plants that would inhabit the world.  Once it was done, it created the first mortal race, the elves.  To them, he gifted them knowledge of that which he created upon the world, which the elves decided to name Mori...

Soon after, the Creator made in the vast valleys, which were produced from the creation of the three wanderers, three vast oceans.  From the perspective of those who lived upon the wanderers' lower halves, the vast seas covered slightly over half the sky...

Madness continued to act upon his world shaping it to as he saw fit.  The god made Forests of dead trees that mocked the lushness of Mori, mountains careening above the mist were capped with the ore, Xaoc, which caused the storms to strike often in some places, and less in others, despite the ore being the same, deep canyons that caused the mist to lower and thicken in these places.  Where the mists were thin, halfway up the mountains of chaos ore, the Specters constructed their civilization.  In accordance with their god, their sentience caused unpredictable developments, causing them to struggle with basic technologies, such as construction and fire, but, at the same time, managing to comprehend advanced quantum physics and psionics...

The Caretaker looked upon its creations and saw something that it had not noticed before.  The power that was once flowing through the forest, causing its powerful initial growth, was waning, and the plants were dying.  The Caretaker's power was much too low at this time, and could do nothing but mourn for the failing forest, before the God was struck with a thought.  It went to the Creator and begged for the powerful being to create a sun for the plants to live.  The Creator thought long, but soon created the wandering Sun to illuminate the three wanderers.  Unknown to the gods, one of the ancients also acted at the same time and created the first three luminox crystals.  The simultaneous creation of these two caused them to become slightly linked.  When this was noticed, the Creator deepened the connection, but due to this, something unexpected occurred.  The movement that the Jaded gifted them was made not to be arbitrary, and with the deepened connection to a massive source of energy, the luminox crystals gained sentience.  It went unnoticed by the gods, so the Luminox hid their sentience from them, for fear of destruction, causing none to notice this fact; however, there was a slight, barely noticeable nudge in the mind of the Jaded, though...

The Trickster acted soon after.  The ancient had to be careful, the other gods would not like the work he was crafting, shifting the reality from what was originally intended.  He caused three maladies among the three known sentient races, cursing the Treants with lethargy, which was viewed by the Caretaker as the Treants being closer to trees and requiring a slower movement for sustenance, cursing the Specters to become sociopaths, which was seen by the Madness as them becoming closer to its sphere, and cursing the elves with a stunted maturity, which went unnoticed by the Caretaker for the race was so young, their actions were only to be expected and later, it would only be viewed as them being closer to nature.  The Trickster was ever vigilant in its paranoia, and to shield itself further, it created a gap between its actions and itself so that the others would not be able to trace it back to him...

The final ancient acted soon after.  It crafted hidden tunnels crisscrossing the entirety of the plane, now named the Wandering Paths, all connected and going to deep, all the way to the base of the plane.  Around the Lakes, the water lowered, filling the tunnels, causing a couple, barely noticeable islands to appear on the surface of the lakes.  It then utilized the heating of the lakes to form a center of storms halfway between the lakes on Plane and the Wanderers they reflected.  At this point, there were frequent storms, some large enough to block out noticeable sections of the lakes, if not the entirety.  Due to the placement, the rain from these storms went in both directions, landing upon both their Wanderer as often as the water returned to the lake...

With these actions, the first civilizations proceeded to develop...

Hmmmm, what is this strange feeling I have? No matter it is time to finally do something after a long, long, banishment.

Virumlix soon turned his gaze to the creatures of the world that were obvious. The trees, the specters, and the elves. But which would be a suitable race to spread his gift? The elves had recently become childlike, something inexcusably bad. The specters were too prideful, they thought too high of their abilities and he had seen many fall to this. The trees were lethargic, industriousness was something needed, not laziness. And with a great sigh, Virumlix went off somewhere else to plot.

What could he create? He needed a organic force to do anything in the world, but one of his tastes could not be found. But what creature would be useful, a massive troll, or a industrious dwarf? Hmmm, a curious pickle indeed. While waiting he noticed his Luminox were having trouble at their speed in reproducing, he decided that he would speed up this process and slightly increase their reproductive speeds.

After a long hard thought, Virumlix finally thought of the creatures his domain needed. He needed a home for them though. The great infinite plain was somewhat barren compared to the rest of the universe. But he had a plan, he had the power to enact it too. With haste he began channeling his powers far off in the distance, away from the wanderers, and their sun. A place where no light could reach, Virumlix enacted his plan. The place was dark but that was no trouble. He let his crystalline energies flow through him, and soon massive blue crystal spires started rising out of the earth, these spires the Uvirma, produced enough light to give sight, but the place as still dark, as it should be. But there was no life left over from the darkness that ruled over this land for so long, so he had to create some himself. He created the Jistol, scaly, grey, bipeds, who were encrusted with gems, These gems covered areas like fore arms, and lowerlegs. each Jistol had a certain hue of jems, but some would have the same or similar colors. Their crystals were used for absorbing the light created by the Uvirma for sustenance, and would become important in their culture some time later. As well, Virumlix imprinted knowledge of himself, their creator, into their minds.

1 Major act: Create the Uvirma plains far off where the light of the sun doesn't reach.
1 Act: Create the Jistol
1 Act: Increase the reproduction rate of the Luminox.

Havoc took notice of the change in his specters; he did not inflict such a thing upon them. But he did not shake his head--he nodded. He embraced the ailments set upon them with a grin and accepted it with a strong laughter, watching as the misty figures fought among each other and eventually discovered quantum physics before even dabbling in the elements. The chaotic energy morphed into a humanoid figure and opened it's mouth to speak:

"Whoever did this, I like what you did here!" he simply said; his sinister voice is heard all over the universe.

Havoc simply smiled and took notice of the mysterious trickster god's example. With a swift gesture of his arm, chaotic energies swirled towards the sun which the glorious Wandering Light had created. Upon the chaotic energies entering the sun, it began to glow many rainbow colors instead of it's usual yellow glow. He laughed at the site, watching the chaotic light show take place. After doing such a thing to the sun, chaotic energies began to swirl towards Mori. The chaotic energies suffuse with the trees of the wanderer, causing them to be shaded with a purple hue; all the trees except the ones near the World Tree, for he didn't want to do anything too hasty.

He simply sat back and watched, anticipating the negative reactions of the other gods. Of course, to the Overgod it would be menial to undo his actions, but Havoc simply yearned to hear his reaction upon turning his glorious sun into a joke.

3 Chaos Acts: Change the sun's color to a rainbow.
1 Chaos Act: Change Mori's leaves to a purple color

((IIRC, I should have 1 major act and three forest acts, along with a forest minor act.))

Wolf pondered his creation sadly, for it was not going as he had planned.  The elves were too vicious, the treants too lethargic.  He would have suspected a force acting against him, but that was preposterous.  Who would want to harm his creation.  Regardless, it was time to leave.

Then something gave him pause.  He realized that he had only scratched the surface of the world, that his creation was only on the surface.  Joyfully, he raised his hands, channeling the power of the aether into the planet.  Beneath the ground, a massive network of caverns and caves opened up, waiting to be explored.  Exulting in the raw power flowing through him, Wolf allowed the cavern system to breach the surface of the ground in a few places, allowing entrance to the caverns.

As the power left him, he willed himself to enter the caverns, examining them.  They were baren, but with a twist of power he caused them to fill with glowing mushrooms, perfectly adapted to life underground.  Small underground lakes formed, and the walls of the network provided the perfect sustenance for the mushrooms.  These mushrooms varied in size, from small, hand sized mushrooms to towering mushrooms the size of trees.  Beyond a few small underground creatures, little moved on the floor of the caverns, but Wolf left it that way.  It was the perfect place for future work.

As he left the caverns, Wolf willed the local vegetation to grow up around the entrances, concealing them from mortal eyes.  With a twist of his will, he concealed their existence from unfriendly immortals, lest someone try to wreak havoc upon his precious world.

No sooner was this completed than a burst of chaos energy washed over the planets, causing the leaves on many of his precious trees to turn purple.  Wolf yelled defiance at the chaos god, who stood cackling, sure of his triumph.  A second staff appeared in Wolf's hand, and when he extended it towards Discord a massive blast of energy launched forth.  A pulse of life energy, supplemented by the chaos of the world, caused blighted trees to grow across the world's surface, twisted and warped by the chaos energies.  These trees, few and far between, fed on the raw power of chaos, needing no other form of sustenance.  But these trees were not a gift, for their presence was deadly to the spectres.  Wolf's rage twisted the life force of the specters, imbuing in them a fascination with the new trees, a compulsion to be near the trees, to touch them.  For he knew that while not all spectres would succumb, many would give in to the temptation to touch the trees and perish soon afterwards from the exposure.  Wolf rose into the aether once more, glaring across at Havoc.  He spoke little, but this affront incited him to speak five words,

This is your last warning.

Split a mighty act, expend three acts to create an extensive underground area under the whole planet, varying in depth, with the listed glowing mushrooms and small creatures.  Basically, create the D&D underdark without creatures, as of yet.
Expend two forest acts to hide the underground from other gods
Expend a forest act to create the blighted chaos trees
Expend a forest minor act to create the compulsion in the Spectres.

It looked up at the sun and sighed. Even though the others chose to alter its creations according to their whims, it was not angry, considering this course of events natural and to be expected. Still, the constant flickering irritated it, and so with a whisper it made the sun shift colors slowly and gradually as it sailed the Aether.

And then it laughed, for the stage was set; the events unfolded even better than it could expect before. It rubbed its hands together and set the experiment into motion.

Long before it came to this universe it was acquainted with all the desires of mortals. And yet the trend that it noticed is that the most fervent of those were the wishes of the flesh. The flesh does not want to starve; it does not want to die. And so mortals spend their time feeding their flesh and protecting it from harm, while their higher desires slowly wither into nothingness. This it observed long before. Uncounted are the great endeavors that it saw die because a body needed to eat, or because it could not run fast enough, or because it feared death - and sometimes not even that: just failure. So many promising souls never strayed from their familiar paths, merely because they feared to fail.
And more than that, mortals were slow to learn - it had seen many who had found their true desire much too late, leaving their lives unsolved, unfinished, undone.

And so it decided to make a chosen people, a creation without fear, each of them destined for greatness.

From stone it cut their bodies. Firm hands it gave them to work with, and long legs to cross the land. Sharp eyes it gave them to know friend from foe, and sharp minds to know good from bad. Mouths and genitals it did not give them.

Only a hundred of them did the Wanderer make, because a thousand of them could have knocked the planets down and put the sun out.

And then it sang a song for them - a song of itself. Its last gift it gave them - restless hearts, wrought of its own essense. With these hearts, they gained the right to traverse the distance between Plane and Planet, to change their shape at will, to wreak fearsome magic upon the world - and never to know rest. With these hearts, they would know all that the Creator made from birth, and no darkness would defile them. They would become chieftains among the people of this universe, leading them to great deeds both noble and terrible.

Last of all, it scattered some of them across the three planets, and made some of them seafarers on the Terra Firma. It did not show them its face, and did not speak to them. A chosen people they would be, but they would not know their maker - they would have to find it themselves.

Use an act to create a hundred Chosen, immune to corruption by other gods (expend two mighty acts for this purpose), possessed of powerful magic and a furious drive for action. Place them in equal amounts on all the planets and on the plane.

Spoiler: Chosen stuff (click to show/hide)

Additionally, make the sun shift colors slowly instead of shimmering with another act.

He watched the results of his work, and they were good. The children of the gods, poorly made imitations at best, had grown up flawed enough for his purposes. Enough for his second stage of deconstruction to begin. He was most familiar with the mad, so he went among the children of the god of senselessness after cloaking himself in mist and wind, walking among them as one of them. He spoke long and persuasively on the goal he wished to pursue, and though the Spectres were crafty, wary beings by his hand, they knew by his force of personality that he was better than them, and bowed to his wishes. Where they had previously focused entirely on undercutting each other, he redirected a cabal of the most talented minds among them and turned them to a singular cause - of course, this didn't stop the rampant backstabbing among them, he even encouraged it to a degree. After many nights sequestered away in secret quarries they found, with many strange odours and lights emerging from their places of work, Trickster returned to them, bearing the weight of magic on his back. Taking it in his spectral hands, he broke it into 19 pieces, for that was the number of his followers, and he gifted a fragment to each of them, claiming that as he had discovered - no, created this force, it had been imbued within him. Their great work done and their dominance over the others assured, for the magic contained within them would extend their lifespans to unnatural lengths, Trickster spoke to them at length about what they could do with their new abilities. They could see into the minds of other beings and shield themselves from the same. They could bend the elements to their will - build walls out of water if they desired, make clothes out of flame, weapons out of the sharpest metal that would cut through even the Specters. All this and more Trickster gifted them that night in the crags, and he spoke of the gods as well. He did not suggest open rebellion, that would be much too foolish, but what business did the gods have demanding their praise when they had created this power entirely on their own? A black discontent crept into the hearts of the nineteen that were there with a Trickster that night, and afterwards, no matter how they tried, they could not remember who amongst them created their powers - they only remembered the words Trickster had given them, not his presence.

1 Act: In the guise of a Spectre of unusual charisma, Trickster creates magic and gives it to the nineteen that were with him.
0 Act (I believe, correct me if I'm mistaken): Trickster talks to the 19, informing them on what they can do with their powers - telepathy, blocking telepathy, elemental bending, enhanced age, and a small increase in cleverness, etc. They can teach this to disciples, but due to their egos and lack of trust it's unlikely they will except in rare circumstances. He also boosts their egos to the point where they begin to question their relationship to the gods.
1 Act: As before, Trickster erases any correlation between himself and the sudden gaining of magic - to the 19 and all observers, it seems to have happened spontaneously.

Trickster spends the rest of his turn watching what the 19 do with their newfound gifts and knowledge.

Book 2: Mortality
Chapter 2: Belief

Far in the distance, beyond the observances of other gods, far beyond the rays of the sun, the Jaded began his movements, creating a grand land, the Uvirma Plains.  They are so distant, that the gathering of knowledge of the happenings of these parts was near impossible for many, many years.  By the time knowledge was gained, much of the occurrences of this time were muddled beneath years of tales, and for the most part, accounts as to the appearance of this land are scarce and vague, if found at all.  What is known, is that this land is the birthplace of the Jistol and the place the Luminox slowly began drifting to after being empowered by their god, which the Luminox still feared discovery from.  It is believed that from this fear, Duluz the Unseen came into being...

The Light of Madness's joy at the Trickster's change of his creation was bountiful.  To say that the god enjoyed the change would be a great understatement.  In fact, this joy was, as believed by some, impacted into the genetics of the spectres, the shadow helping them through the more difficult times of their race's history.  One of which would strike soon after the Light's dabbling with the sun and the leaves of the trees of Mori were finished...

This struggle came from the curse the Caretaker launched upon the world.  The god loathed the planetary change of its creation, and lashed out, creating massive 'trees' upon Discord.  These twisted abominations gave rise to a more...ordered civilization on Discord.  The lust for control of these trees, when combined with the pride given by the Trickster and the knowledge given by the Madness, as well as an eventual technology that dulled the trees effects to nonlethal levels, caused conflict to erupt across the planet.  With the rise of countries, these conflicts grew into all out wars, with the power of a country dictated by how many of these trees they controlled.  Across the world, railgun artillery supporting shielded swordsspectres blazed.  The cost being inflicted caused those wars made the spectres curse the Caretaker, and the necessary evil of order that was imposed through the development of civilizations.  This hatred towards order is believed to have been what gave rise to Aeterne Deus the Dark of Order...

Around this time, two things occurred.  First, the Wanderer slowed the speed at which the sun flared, for at first it had gone exceptionally fast, into a slow change, so as to be bearable by the mortal races.  Second, the 100 came into being.  It is in fact, through them, that we know a great deal of what we know about the Uvirma Plains.  Their eternal lifespan and direct protection from their god allows them to wander for as far as they wish for as long as they wish, allowing them to go where no others could...

The Trickster began its second run over the world, gifting nineteen of the spectres great magics.  After knowledge of his act was finished, he watched what would happen.  Out of these nineteen, twelve went on to become the leaders of twelve of the seventeen nations that had been created, hoarding the magic to themselves.  The remaining seven, however, cut all ties to most of the spectres, wandering the world as a single group, carefully shaping the history from the shadows after creating guards against the trees that so plagued the others of their kind.  They achieved this shaping through a healing or gift here, and an assassination or bribe there.  Eventually, the Twelve struck out against the Seven, slowly causing the numbers of both to leave only four of the twelve and only two of the seven alive.  The Two, after escaping, then decided to part to prevent the Four from catching them both.  They parted for other sides of the world, each taking with them a symbol, so that the followers of both would be able to recognize those of the other.  While the methods would differ between the two, on belief was shared.  Bring the people to the time before.  This effort to have their world reborn is believed to have led to the creation of An Draoi the Restorer...

Havoc simply watched the chaos with interest as his people erupted in global warfare, utilizing a plethora of weapons at their disposal and grew even more intrigued as he took notice of the magic being used by the chosen of the Specters. However, a grave realization struck within him; his people were killing themselves. His creation. Despite his love for chaos, he would grow bored if his Specters died away so quickly after he created them. He wanted them to prosper.
And so, the Light of Madness sent forth a spiraling swirl of purple mist which shrouded Discord for a few mere moments--a large rotund bulb of a plant began to sprout across the surface of Discord, even in its jagged canyons. The bulbs, named 'Fruits of Seeing', were swirled with colors of purple and blue and glowed with a dim azure light, attracting the Specters to its sweet taste. Upon consuming the fruit, the specter would be removed of some of its chaotic energy and turned 3/4ths into benign energy, causing the specters to become more orderly and understanding of each other. The specters who consumed the fruit would be compelled to tell others of their wonderful enlightenment and succulent taste of the fruit, enticing others to follow them and eat the fruit.
The Light of Madness smiled and used the last of his energy for now to erect a large cathedral to act as a means to communicate with his people--the large building stood erected on a floating island which led to the ground through mystical floating stone slabs, adorned and inscribed with ancient runes which the Specters cannot comprehend.

2 Acts: Spread the Fruits of Seeing across Discord, enticing the Specters to eat them and gain benign energy so that they become more orderly and understanding of each other.
2 Acts: Erect a giant cathedral on a floating island and use an altar within the cathedral as a catalyst to communicate with the Light of Madness through prayer--but not without sacrifice. In order to communicate, a Fruit of Seeing, a pound of Xaoc ore, and a small vial of chaotic energy must be presented in order to gain the Light of Madness's attention so that he may speak with his people.

Duluz snuck into the universe, urged by the thoughts and whisperings of a hidden civilization. Another universe... it'd been a long time since he'd left that betrayed universe, the universe where he had learned lessons about overgods. The universe where he had learned lessons about survival. Yes, it had been a very, very long time. Duluz couldn't help but notice that he was weak, now, as weak as when he had first been born. He could change that, he suspected. He just needed to answer the cries for help of a civilization that needed hiding.

And in this, he would solve the problem of his own cursed visibility. Straightening himself out, Duluz launched into action, hoping to do so before he could be noticed. He would need to create something to facilitate stealth, he would need to create his trademark-- ultraviolet light. And as such, Duluz bathed the world in new light, in order to hide. Ultraviolet light-- a light which would help, but which Duluz intended not to be seen, not by the other gods, not even by the Overgod. Duluz intended only two recipients of ultraviolet sight-- himself, and the Luminox, to whom ultraviolet light would be a gift-- though not the deepest areas of the spectrum, intended only for him.

After he'd done that, he would spread a message, a whisper inaudible to others. "Fear not. Now, you may hide, now you can see where even the god of Light may not. My light is the one that shall hide, rather than reveal. Revel in it."

But that wouldn't quite be enough, would it...? No, Duluz would have to take more measures. As such, he would allow the Luminox to hide, give them greater stealth.
Split Mighty act into five acts
Add onto the light spectrum by creating ultraviolet light-- but only give the ability to see it at all (and only then the shallower parts of UV) to the Luminox, and only give the ability to see all of it to myself. Alternatively, remove UV sight from all but me and the Luminox.
Allow Luminox to hide from the actions of other Gods (besides Duluz).
Use my physical form to whisper the earlier message to the Luminox.

Aeterne came into the universe, as had come into many - to the spread of chaos. It's grip was firm here, war and strife rampant. Creations being born and destroyed in an instant, nothing staying as it was made or divined. Death and disorder was constant amongst the mortals, the seeds of destruction sowed by delighted gods. The gods themselves were no better, fighting and manipulating each others creations, warping them subtly to further their own gains. There was no constant, no central to hold. The Creator of this universe was preoccupied too much with furthering his spread of knowledge, to venture forth into the unknown, to never stay still. This was as damaging as these warring mortals, and the corruption of the gods, for was not change in any way the same? Whether it comes from new discovery abroad, or the technology needed to destroy, all change is manifested, and it's effects are the same.

Reaching out, he grabs the souls - the very essence - of every living creature upon every plain and world, and binds their souls to the Luminox. He attaches great spiritual strings, invisible to mortals, to the Crystals. This connection is twofold - once a being dies, they are pulled by their string, as a buoy pulls in a drowning man, to their Crystal, where their soul is absorbed, and the light of the crystal grows. Multiple beings are connected to each Luminox, allowing every life to be bound with a crystal. However, the second part of the connection, unforeseen consequences made by Aeterne, but ones that balance the connection - which therefore increases order, does it not? - is that the Luminox may be destroyed as well. The connection means that the mortals, the lives connected to the crystals, may be snuffed out. Killed, and sent to a purgatorial existence, should their crystal be destroyed.

1 Almighty Act (Order): Tether the spirits, or souls, of all mortals to the Luminox, making the connection two-way; if the mortal dies, their soul is combined with the Luminox, making it glow stronger. If the Luminox is destroyed, all the mortals connected to it die, and are banished to eternal purgatory.

Masches grabs his "sword." Navi gasps. Her aura flushes a pinkish hue and she flies out the window.

The Creator looked upon his work, and saw that it had left a flaw in it: isolation. Although their gods fought with each other and cast their lives into ruin, the Spectres and the Elves knew nothing of each other, nor could the Jistol reach the wanderers of the skies. Only its Chosen wandered as they saw fit.

The Light had a healthy respect for mortal ingenuity, and knew that in time, the people of the universe would discover a way to traverse the Aether between the planets. But that moment might not occur in many. many mortal lifetimes. It had decreed that in the world it made, no place would be shut to a mind sufficently inquisitive.

And so it created a network of pathways in the hidden places of the world, pathways of not-time not-space between the plane and the planets, which would bear a mortal across colossal distances in literally no time at all. But it hid those pathways well - on the tops of the highest of mountains, and in the darkness of the deepest forests, in forgotten caves beneath the earth and in old places where mortals would no longer tread; some of those pathways would only open when asked to, and some only on certain days. Some would only work after a complicated ritual, and some only in the right weather.

The Chosen, however, would be able to feel any pathway near them, and tell mortals that it was there, though even they wouldn't know the specifics to making it work.

Create hidden pathways between the plane and each of the planets, and between the planets themselves.

The pathways do not look like anything; imagine passing under a curiously-shaped rock and emerging in another place. They don't have to be visible at all - some are just a specific point in space.
