I was working on a wild creature that would spawn minions and wander off, however the the POP_RATIO of that caste wasn't low enough and the amount of minions was 30 per. Embark and roughly 100's of heat seeking minions was spawned to kill my poor 7.

Duplicated some raws a couple days ago, went through the motions of embarking and wound up with seven elephants instead of lizardfolk.

That expression on your face when you embark, attempt to set up a custom workshop, and some how set the entire region on fire upon attempting to use it. Take note not mix your scrap metal that burns at room temperature raws with materials more mundane.

Making a creature with [CRAZED] and they get integrated into human populations, so as soon as you walk into the human town as an adventurer, they all start a huge fistfight.
Also, being a necromancer and raised a [CRAZED] creature, because it retains Crazed, and will attack its own body parts.

Oh look, I have a steam account.
Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

One of my very first creatures had an odd habit of literally falling apart because I didn't define their tissues properly.

Another time I was working on trying to find a way to make gemstones stockpile-able, only to have civilizations making entire towns out of gems. Even weapons and armour were made of jewels.

I tried making the default dwarf's head its upper body once. Spawning them in the arena produced limbless waddlers that quickly suffocated.

I attempted to change a creature so that it would melt in the water, and failed, but still got amusing results. Instead, said creature simply exploded into a dozen different sections of hair upon falling multiple z-levels.

My first attempt at a smelter reaction allowed me to make 150 bars out of 1 bar of the same metal. Without knowing, I left the reaction on repeat...

I tried making an interaction that caused everything in the world to come back to life when killed. This resulted in people reanimating over and over as sentient zombies, then promptly dying from their wounds.

I made a boiling rock for making a ball creature kickable (and CRAZED) and had it affect GENERAL_POISON. Cue dwarves and pets fighting.

My walrus men won in a fight of 3 to one against better equipped dwarves.
Bit overpowered heh. c;
