Name: 'Kay' Alandon (Short for Kaylanna)
Description: A short, neat looking, middle aged woman with good looks and a deal of body grace and musculature. Hair is kept shoulder length, a riot of auburn red, slowly going dark in her older age. Faded blue eyes and a rich skin tone. Walks with a slight limp on her left foot, when the weather is bad. Scars are small, scattershot across her body, the most visible being a puckered, triangular hashmark above her left breast, right above her heart-to those that know, it's the obvious calling sign of a sniper demon. A long, intricate, tribal tattoo of a segmented snake trails from her right shoulder, down to her stomach.
Mental: Kay has served in the White Guard for most of her life-a noble child of the 'much renowned' Alandon family-and as such, maintains a calm, patient, stoic approach to most obstacles in her life. As her personal totem dictates, she tends to wait and see if the situation allows it, striking quickly and subduing a threat through sheer perseverance-her patience and her intelligence are as taut as a snakes coils.
Kay will often look down upon those she deems below her station-she has little love for fools, and a nobles inbred disdain for the irresponsible, willfully stupid or those who refuse to help themselves. Despite these scruples, she rarely feels comfortable among her own noblekind, frittering away valuable resource and time on luxury. Kays temper is calmed somewhat by a steely, romantic heart. She enjoys questing, travels and victories-doing things and helping people who actually need it, being active and being known for her actions. She can rarely stand to be pampered herself for very long, and material wealth holds little meaning to her, for one who has never had a lack of it.
She has little imagination, and not much of an eye for beauty, judging things by their real world impression, rather than speculating on what might be, or what could be-her attention would be less on the wild beauty of a fierce snowstorm, than the strong cover she would have to seek out to survive it. This has enabled her to withstand some of the more fearsome things she has encountered in her travels.
Those who earn her hard won respect find she is equally as graceful in her social life-cultivating strong relationships and the occasional brisk romances with an equal degree of casual abandon. Her strongest virtue is pride, an invisible trait that ensure her head never dips-no matter how much her old wounds might bother her.
Primary Skill: Apprentice Staff Fighting
Secondary Skills: Novice Totem Magic: Snake, Novice Knowledge: Snakes
Starting Items:
White Guard Longstaff (An engraved wooden staff, heavy, two handed in use-has the mark of the White Guard upon the center, and a lacy red ribbon tied around the 'neck' for effect. It tapers to spiral points, ending in three carved, angular heads-each prong writ in the old letters of Ayum's primary creeds-strength, honor, courage-it's an old fashion statement, rumored to make the weapon strike better against demonkind.)
Courtiers Armor (A female set of White Guard armor designed to look flashy and ostentatious, if not a bit risque. Perfect for attending a ball while looking properly militaristic.)
Rose-in-Glass (A fine blue rose, flattened and perfectly preserved in a pane of glass, like a picture frame. An expensive gift usually given during courting, from a man to a woman-though, usually for one far younger than Kay is herself. Tradition in kind is for the woman to plant a lipsticked kiss upon the glass, and return it to the man in question as approval of his desire to court. There is no such mark upon it.)
Rosary of Ayum (A believer in Ayums teachings-her beliefs stem from real world effects she has witnessed, as compared to simple faith-Kay has a 19-bead rosary, made of carved redwood, looped around her neck whenever she is traveling or meditating. Each of the beads is some sort of personal benchmark she has completed in her life, as awarded by the sect she pays homage to.)
Dry Rations and Waterskin (Heavily salted fish and strips of jerky, Fresh Water in a metal canteen. Tasteless, but functional.)

Couldn't you use a more extreme example? I wouldn't think it would be that difficult to give a shovel a wedge shape, be thicker, and sharp at one end.
I was worried a more extreme example might lose its nuance, though I'm not sure it came through in any case. Tweaking a thing's traits tends to be easier than giving it new ones, even if the amount of physical alteration seems similar. A somewhat peculiar example might be that it's easier to grow extra eyes in your head than on your hands.

EDIT2: question: can we do combined moves? I mean, x person knows metamagic, I know earth magic, can we make a stone barrier combining our knowledge?
Yes, though it may be trickier to do than with one person.

Interesting. Frost sounds good for the freezing, simulacrum construction, and supporting knowledge for attaching the soul. Necromancy is good for soul manipulation. I'm not sure exactly what kind of Alchemy variant you're going for, but you might be better served by Enchanting or especially Runecrafting to help shackle the soul to its new form. Either of those might come in handy in creating the container as well.

I did do a bit of reimagining of Alchemy, but its description does imply it is possible:

...conversion of substances into more magically reactive and concentrated forms...distilling reagents into purer or more focused forms...portable, reliable methods of [doing things]...more interested in refined products than potions, which are then used in other processes or rituals...bring out the innate powers of materials...

Still, Runecrafting makes sense too, and it does give me a legitimate reason to have an athame.

Also, I was wondering if Tiger Totem mages are too rare for it to be a viable starting primary or secondary skill. I'll change it if I can't use the Tiger Totem of course. Would Jaguar be a valid totem?

Description: Slightly tall and scrawny. Has fair skin, pale gray eyes and hair of same color. Possess sharply hooked nose and thin lips. No facial hair.
Mental: Korrak is self-centered scientist with hidden god complex. He is calm and assertive most of the time, but can be quite psychotic, even sadistic, when conducting another necromantic experiment. He is atheist and believes only in himself, preferring to be left alone.
Primary Skill: Necromancy
Secondary Skills: Toughness, Knowledge (undead)
Starting Items: Dark robes, multiuse ritual knife, two self-autored tomes (necromancy & notes about undead), encrypted in customary form of necrolingua.

Between being an unusual individual and other wizards occasionally doing odd things to the world, wielding a relatively rare magic type is more than acceptable. Jaguar would also be fine as a totem.

This one is probably only going to be any good in the White Guard, so unless two or three more people make a dashing swashbuckler, there's little sense in even submitting this guy.

Mental: Jerydd has long been fascinated with the inner workings and motivations of demons, ever since seeing one tear his aunt apart when he was a boy.

Question: how exactly does Supporting Knowledge make spellcasting easier? What are the mechanics of this?

Suppose I have a +2 main skill and +1 supporting skill, and cast a spell that is fully included in both(example: healing spell with Restoration and Knowledge: Medicine). Do I get one action with a +3 bonus(quite reasonable, considering the sheer size of penalties this system has for most, if not all, worthwhile actions), or two actions with +2 and +1 bonuses(which would result in the chances of success dropping rather than rising as the amount of supporting schools increases)?

Just asking to be sure whether specialists are better off in this game than generalists.
