Use my Master Problem Solving to work on LoZ, have Nick play Paper Mario, as it requires less thought.

Alright, since we've finally got round to the premise which is actually playing video games, here's how this is going to work. All the games are tagged as either [A(dvanced)], [S(imple)] or [I(mprovised)].

Simple games are ones that the GM has only rudimentary knowledge of. He hasn't played it all the way through, but he does have a bit of experience with it. OR: the game is very short or uncomplicated. Playing the game just once is enough to beat it. You cannot gain skills by playing these, but they will add to your Beat counter.

Advanced games are much different. The GM has played these over, and over and over and he knows them by heart (usually). You have to play the entire thing in order to win. It'll basically be a blow-by-blow of the actual game. Except with more murderization. You can do whatever you want so long as you complete the game's arbitrary goals. So in LoZ:OoT all you've got to do is kill Ganon. These games are the most valuable. Making progress can earn you skills IRL that will help you defeat the Bosses.

Improvized games are games the GM has never played before in his life, or he was too drunk at the time to remember. He might skim a wiki or two, but you can trust that a playthrough will largely be completely blind and full of guesses. Definitely a lot of room for bullshit in this type of game. There's a possibility of earning skills by beating these games, but who knows what they might be. Meta knowledge will not help you in this game. Potentially the hardest games based on that alone.

Rules: All characters who are not at work must be in the apartment in order to start a gaming session. Once a character starts a gaming session, he MUST beat the game in order to leave. Other characters may join, but no one can quit until the game is beaten. Only one A or I-class game can be played at any given time. You can play as many S-class games as you have players to play them.

Fine. See if I ever help you again.

M  The  Legend AS of  Zelda:  Ocarina CH of  Time  ES

The three goddesses hid the Triforce containing the power of the
gods somewhere in Hyrule. The power to grant the wish of the one who
holds the Triforce in his hands. If someone with a righteous heart
makes a wish, it will lead Hyrule to a golden age of prosperity...
If someone with an evil mind has his wish granted, the world will
be consumed by evil...That is what has been told... So, the ancient
Sages built the Temple of Time to protect the Triforce from evil
ones.

Navi wakes you up. You're in the treehouse. You've grown younger by about 10 years. You're also naked.

Young Masches - Beat Ganon!
Nothin'! Yain't got nnnnnothin'!

-----

I  Paper  Mario  K

You're suddenly 2D. You can see some koopas wandering around up ahead.

Paper Nick - Beat King Koopa!
HP: 6/6
Hammer [1d6]
Mushroom [+10 HP]
