You walk up to the...uh...demo guy? Anyway, he talks about this next gen console. It uses new age tech to keep it from lagging, ever. You really don't give a shit about the science stuff, but even you get wide eyed when he says there is a small nuclear reactor in there.
Note: you must play the game, but this starts the REAL game. Do you want to look around first.

Just kidding. I'm assuming that a game is being demonstrated or you'll be able to be the one to demonstrate it or something?

Clearly, the nuclear reactor is necessary to process all of the hats in any games released on the console. DUH!

Plot twist! Hats don't exist in Etorya!
Bigger and more relevant to gaming plot twist! None of the games that will be produced will involve any form of headwear!

You start the game, because this is clearly safe. Then the console starts to smoke

You look around. Everyone else has disappeared.
Jon,  what the hell is going on?
I don't know!
All around you, the area changes. It gets darker and darker, till you pass out.
Once upon a time, there was a land called Etorya. This place was a land of magic and warriors. But then, a dark evil swept over the land, raising the dead. Only a small group of humans remain, still fighting the hoards...
...
...
...
When you wake up, you are in a room. There is nothing else in here. Outside you see two guards. They appear to be wearing armor and have long swords.
Farther outside you here a lot of men and women singing this song.

Other that the guards, you see over 50 men and women working on fence. Among them is Mel.
The door to the room is open.
You have lost your backpack, but still have your clothes.
All injures are healed
