The two (three?) of you meet outside the cave entrance. Noises can be heard from inside the cave, though the besst hs not shown itself yet.
"It has been an honor. If you haven't a way out of the city arranged, I suppose this is where we part?"
"Stay behind the barrier till this attack passes. The light barrier will fall and we will be free to leave. In response to your question, yes we will part after..." A brilliant light rips down the corridor, it reaches Athri's barrier, which lets none through, thougb she and Johnathyn are hit with concentrated non-existence (2) Johnathyn is barely left conscious, his body failing to respond to even the simplest commands. Athri remains on her feet though she looks drained.
"I miscalculated. Another party was here. I must return home and recover. This is a mistake that I will never make again." She pats Johnathyn on the head and leaves as he slips into unconsciousness.
Dave is blown to pieces by the light. His body disintegrates and he is left barely even capable of sentient thought. It takes him a day, but he eventually finds himsekf large enough to speak and sitting next to an unconscious man with eyes all around his body.
That's probably not very good... Maybe I should rethink this going into Romekshome thing...
Turn and follow the refugees to the nearest town

Arkham is temporarily blinded by the light barrier, when he gets up however, he notes that the ritualist is gone as well as (1) wait, why did his stomach hurt in the first place? There must have been someone else, but he cant remember. Oh well, to councilhome he goes.
Aria follows the path to councilhome. A great many refugees are fleeing the city now the burning crater in the center not really condusive to life.
