We headed all the way back to Vermillion city, where we took diglett tunnel to Viridian city. There, we headed south back into my hometown. Draco was glad to be home after so long. I felt sad though because the ones who would love to have returned to their home to see it after so long are no longer with us... Spike... George... Only Sting remained, and he couldn't keep up with us. We fought many battles to make it here... Draco... Duke... Ryan... Snor... Jor... and even Kreig... We needed to step up our game in order to take on the last gym leader and the pokemon league. We surfed on Snor's stomach as we managed to make it to land as Snor's snores pushed us along. Cinnabar Gym was locked, so we headed into the pokemon Mansion. There, we trained and made it out with the key to the gym. There, our wits were tested...

So from there, we had all seven badges. Then we heard that there were three legendary birds that lurked within remote parts of the world. One was in an island that was cold as the north pole, another in an abandoned building full of electricity, and the last was said to have been in the deepest pits, hidden away in a place where you achieved victory or turned back in shame. I knew where the second one was right away... And thus began the hunt for Zapdos

We had to walk all the way back to Cerulean City from Vermillion after making it back to diglett cave. We headed back east from there and instead of taking rock tunnel, we surfed south, finally making it to land again, where the old abandoned power plant was. There, we faced our greatest challenge yet...

Red: We're fighting this legendary bird that causes a lot of problems. We need to train for the upcoming battles, so why not take this out and test our skills?

I had a moment there where I felt awful. They were willing to risk life and limb for me. And all I do is give orders. They're the ones who deserve the respect. And soon? We all will... Together...

We made it passed the guard and traversed the dreaded victory road. We felt the scorching heat inside and saw how bright the cave was. I then remembered where the last bird was said to be, and I knew it was here. The problem was the vast number of trainers in the cave, keeping us wounded.

Red: Argh... This heat us unbearable... Kreig, be ready for anything

Moltres: Moltres! (Who comes wandering into my lair?)

Red: I am Red! And I will defeat you! I have defeated your other allies, and now I shall defeat you!

Within minutes of defeating Moltres, we finally made it to the league! But we needed to train... We hardly could keep up with the trainers in the cave, we were nowhere near ready to take on the League. So began the endless cycle of training once again...

((We're getting close to the end guys. I'm thinking of continuing if I lose or not and going into Silver/Gold/Crystal. I'm also open to adding or removing some rules in the next one (please specify). This grinding will take some time (They're all evenly at 45 right now... How I beat Blue with Kreig was luck, and how I made it through Victory Road was luck and a lot of potions) So this gives us time to figure out and discuss the next Nuzlocke (because I don't want to stop here). I'm fairly certain I will be doing Crystal Version (and more insanity will ensue there)))

Well, its confirmed now. Lost my data on my phone because I need to get a new one... But I still want to Nuzlocke (I was so close!) and I have a couple options for the next part.

Either I do Soul Silver off of my 3DS or Emulate Silver. I'm leaning towards normal Silver, and adding in a few extra rules. I will NOT do randomizer, however. I will do a write up to finish Red version as if I did complete it (either loss or victory, the outcomes will be apparent in the next one. After all, three years pass in between Red/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal).

I WILL be continuing it on this thread and just changing the name. My whole thing with regards to not doing Crystal version is I still want to do that legendary hunt, but unfortunately, you can never fight Ho-oh unless you capture Suicune, Entei and Raikou. With Soul Silver (I lack Heart gold, the game was stolen from me) I can have a little bit more of a challenge with abilities and and have a bigger move pool, but I will have more legendaries to hunt down and it will not end after defeating Red. Because of this, I'm still leaning to Silver because I have a pretty good idea how this will play out.

Regardless, the rules are as follows and I am open to removing or adding some new ones if I agree with it. And no, I will NOT ban the use of pokemon centers... That got nasty when I tried... And struggle became my best friend and worst enemy.

- Catch only 1 pokemon on a route, the first one you see
- Release any pokemon that faints
- Gifts/Buying Pokemon do not count towards the limit (no doubles however)
- No HM slaves (meaning no pokemon can be used only for HMs, you have to actually use them)
- Same number of pokemon as your rival does at your next fight
- Defeat Every Trainer
- No legendary captures, only kills
- No repels
- If you run into a pokemon you already own, you get another shot at finding a pokemon on a route, but no duplicates at any time

I am also adding on a rule, which will be very tempting and has been done a couple times on my run of Red:

- Avoid glitching

I had to do the Cycling Road one a few times and I accidentally triggered Missigno at Cinnabar coast and duplicated a TM to a rediculous number... And It was counter of all things, which was most tempting to put on Snor and Ryan, but they had some nice moves. So if you got any suggestions for rules, go right ahead

The professor came and put me in the Hall of Fame. Duke was recognized even though he was no longer with us. We brought him back to Diglett cave where he was given a burial worthy of a king. But Lance said there was one last challenge; the rampant pokemon in Cerulean cave. I was the only one strong enough to capture it, he said. But the legendary pokemon I faced already did so much harm... I had to end him... Mewtwo needed to be stopped.
