OK, a recap is in order.

Squidgen, using a race of beings with a blood-sucking bite attack, discovered that a creature can gain vampirism by biting and sucking the blood of a vampire.
We began searching for a way to duplicate it in vanilla.
I was able to duplicate it in arena mode with mosquito women and tick men sucking the blood of a vampire.
.Now we are looking for a way to weaponize the phenomenon.

That's all, correct?

As far as I know, yes.

They're easily weaponizeable, just add the [pet_exotic] tag to mosquito women and train them as war animals after vampirism. Chain or use with military units.

Now to find out if they suck blood.

Well, no modifications should be nessisary to check the blood-sucking at least.

Mosquitoes may not be able to become vampires, but dang they can take a beating. Took forever for me to take one down with a bronze colossus.

Nothing's truly dwarfy until it's been weaponized to kill elves with magma.

Indeed, release them in swarms against seiging elves and watch the irony of Mother Nature killing elves.

This is quite possibly the most entertaining way to kill elves.

I don't understand why you need magma.

Well done OP, you've inadvertently weaponized ghosts.

i do not play fortress mode often so this might not be possible.
- cage male and female animal man
- release them in a room where they cant escape from with door and waterflow and a chute to drop food stuffs
- if they dont eat or drink forget the chute and waterflow
- make a water drain in the room
- connect the room to the entrance hall
- when gobos come, open the door and close the door leading to your fortress
- when gobos are dead, flood the entrance hall and flush the animal men back in their room
- if they multiply you have a giant army in no time :)
