Journey into the Underworld

There is a path, situated far away from all mortal eyes. It lies beneath the earth, twisting and turning, leading deeper and deeper into the darkness below. Guarded by fiends and monsters, the lonely walkers of this road are spirits long passed from this earth. They walk slowly one and all to their judgment; be it one of Elysian splendor or torment upon the Fields of Punishment. Here; Beorc and Laguz mean nothing; all are judged as equals. Pluto, Lord of the Underworld awaits them, accepting all of mortal ken into his fold.

But upon rare occasion, there will be one not dead who decides take the dark path. Fueled by the love for his late wife Eurydice, the Heron Orpheus prepares to meet  his destiny. On the day that his wife died, the young Heron poured out his sad tidings to the earth, and with his sorrowful song made even the Gods above weep for sadness. He travelled the Ancient World restlessly, until one day he caught upon a whisper in the wind by that he might regain his beloved Eurydice. Taking his close companions round him, he set off for the appointed place to begin the descent proper.

Little did he know that an old friend would be there as well…

Hello all! This is a Closed Setup in order to experiment with little side project that I have been working on; the implementation of the Laguz into FEF!

This campaign is largely experimental, and will likely be shorter than most games. The results I glean from this experiment may be used to further tweak the Laguz as a class down the line. Without further ado however, here are is the page I have made for the Laguz!

Memory Magic v0.1, replaces Call Magic provided by Handbook

Character creation, stats&weapon ranks:
-Two Affinity rolls made by GM; Player chooses one of them.
-Character Skills banned: Corrosion (because wep.quality on enemies is not counted), Provoke (No real use for it), Reinforce (because I say so :3), Stillness (No real use for it, too)
-Blossom: Gives +5% to all Progression rates, and it can raise them above normal limit (Example: 105% for HP). Those 5% cannot be re-distributed in any way.
-Character Skills changed: Guard (only one person per turn can be Guarded)
-When the Handbook says 'Your Choosen Weapon (S)', FEF treats it as 'Your Choosen Weapon Subcategory (S)', for the sake of simplicity.
-Class Skills are changed/removed in several classes, look into spoiler above for full listing.

Class Skill Legacy&Replacement
Unless stated otherwise, the skill from First Class is retained by Promoted Class. Exceptions:

Mercenary - > Hero:
'Inspiration' replaced by 'Charisma' Character Skill
Spies: Gain traps as per the discussion thread. Every Spy gets 3 traps that can be of these types.
   •Poison Needle: Persistent. Enemy units that enter this square are poisoned for 3 turns.
   •Caltrops: Persistent. Units that enter this square lose 2 move for 3 turns. Mounted units lose 4 move. Units on the square suffer -15 evade.
   •Flash Powder: One shot. Enemy units that enter this square suffer -20 hit and evade for 3 turns. Affects Fliers.
   •Decoy: places a dummy that acts like an allied unit with 1 HP.
Beserkers now have Critical Eye.

Lvl Up's:
-Performed at the end of Turn during which the Exp.Pool counter went over 100 points.

Inventory Space:
-CON no longer used to determine amount of inventory slots. Every unit have 5 inventory slots, unless special rules are applied ('Bag of Holding' of Rogue class, for example).

Dying:
-You die when the 'KO' counter goes to 0. Death is permament.

Combat specific:
-Staff-bearers auto-equip a weapon for combat duration, provided they have any weapon at all and they can use it (similar to Fire Emblem 4: Genealogy of Holy War).
-Critical % chance hard-capped at 85.

Gold:
-In FEF, gold is distributed 'per character', it doesn't have a 'party gold' pool or anything like that (again, think FE4).

Performances:
-Performers cannot be 'revitalized' (given another move) by other Performers.

Bio: An older mixed-blood gentleman, Sir Trevor Aloysius Neville Kahn (VI, Esq) purports to be the Knight Commander of the Seventh Battalion of King George V, assigned to infiltrate the pack of roving marauders known as the Vultures. The only problem is there is no known records of a King George the V in any country, nor has anyone ever heard of the Vultures despite Kahn apparently being part of their ranks for five years and earning himself the title the Crimson Raider.

A conclusion can be drawn that Sir Kahn is either insane, an idiot, or a very, very clever man pretending to be one or both of the previous two. Regardless of his mental health, in practice Sir Kahn is a strong man, kind to his allies and wrathful to his enemies. He tends to speak a bit oddly when compared with the average person, and follows his own personal code of honor.

He is a tall man and broadly built, wearing odd foreign clothes in gold with crimson armor as befits his title and a white fur pelt across his right shoulder. His mustache is worn in an unusual style and he often touches it when he is thinking. His eyes are a dark, almost black brown, and his hair is black and worn in a long braid down his back.

Bio: A laguz a bit more punch happy than is probably recommended, Isteus can't help but consider himself always ready for a scrap. He would often seek challenges not for a purpose of greed or benevolence, but of pride. A challenge set before him is one that must be toppled to add both to his legend, and as another notch on his arm. Truly, what greater a challenge is there but to defeat death itself? It took little convincing of the Heron to enlist this Hawk's aid.
