We're going to drop you and this APC off a bit from it; the winds and snow are a bit too strong for the shuttle to navigate through the area where this thing is, but you should be able to make it in that thing. We've loaded the digging materials into the APC as well. Night will come in the next 3 hours, and there is a stormfront on the way in, so be prepared for blizzard conditions. The APC is loaded with food and water, if you should need it, but I doubt you will. We may lose contact during the storm, but I'll keep my eye on you as best I can. If you need immediate evac for some reason, fire off either 3 flares in a triangular shape or light three fires in a triangle. Do something bright and triangular, and I'll come grab ya.
The shuttle lurches as it drops the APC and then rocks to the side and hovers above the ground.

As the crew piles out, dropping into ankle deep snow, the synthflesh body of steve leans out the back and points across the barren white expanse towards a low, crushed formation of black rock in the distance.

He leans back in and the door closes. The shuttle, already creating little boiling pools of water in the snow and ice around it, takes off into the low laying clouds and vanishes.
