Seer:Can see small instances of the near future, must have his staff or other gifts from his goddess to use this ability.
Priest:Can convert people to his religion.
Enlightened:Can control and manipulate lightning, was gifted this power by his goddess.

Sadly, all three of these bonuses have their issues - firstly, the first and the third are magic, and to get God to do anything for you, you need MPs (the flipside being that miracles, unlike magic, always work and are more versatile), because God don't do nuthin' for free. And secondly, converting people to your religion is something anyone can do (though it takes much more than words for anyone in most cases, even for a priest), and in fact one of the main ways one gets power in this game. So you either need to redo the two magical benefits as proper magic (although the first one does basically work like magic, and probably doesn't need much changing, only a quirk to go with it) and add corresponding abnormalities or rework the bonuses some other way.

And I have no idea what would make a idea an interesting idea, plus verbosity is still a factor.

It is indeed a factor, but verbosity can be to your detriment as well, as you're much more likely to start boring me if you go on for too long. For instance, Wwolin's sheet is a pretty good example of doing it right without getting into massive walls of text. Being highly specific about your background is also probably not entirely advisable.

My sheet is done. I put in a little bit more effort than when I applied for KoA.

Here's my sheet. I've got two questions, actually. Will we be able to meet/hear anything about our player characters from kingspawn? And are the undead mindless zombies, or do they posess intelligence? Also, I hope I didn't screw anything up with my sheet.

Spoiler: sheet (click to show/hide)

Yes, the kingspawn are around, the undead seem rather sentient if the stories are to be believed, and the sheet looks good.

I've changed the sheet a little bit, but your post was a little vague on the subject of "redo the two magical benefits as proper magic"
and "add corresponding abnormalities" but I think I understood enough of it.

What I basically meant there is this - you have three benefits total. If they were normal benefits, you could just have two weaknesses to compensate. However, since two of these benefits you have are magical in nature, you need two extra abnormalities on top of your current negatives, either physical or mental. That would presumably bring you to a total of four weaknesses.

Is there enough room here for me to reserve a slot?

You've got about 4-5 days before I finalize my picks for who gets in, so reserve away! Make sure to make the sheet, too. And that it's got bits in it that I'd like. All three of these would improve your chances of getting in, that's for sure.

I finished cleaning up my character sheet. I was wondering how many people are you planing to pick? Or are you picking all the eligible sheets?

Would this answer your question?

the Great Gate, pathway between this world and the next, slowly lurches open, wider than it ever has in the past, and a presence, immense in size yet imperceptible to any mortal eye, slips into the world, seeking and immediately finding five minds, who would soon realize their role in the events to come, to direct its power and decide its path.

Yeah, five players is the limit. The rest go on the waiting list.

EDIT: By the way, added another entry to Things You Know.

That sheet definitely works, yes, though it is a bit wordy.

Oh crap, how did I miss this?  I'll get working on the sheet.  Wallace was a bit too flat to reuse, but using him would have benefits...

...he could maximize his Gross Prophet Margin.

EDIT:  How canon are the events of Kingspawn?  When does this take place relative to that?

HMR stands for Hazardous Materials Requisition, not Horrible Massive Ruination, though I can understand how one could get confused.

Very canon, and roughly simultaneously.

Also, there do seem to be benefits to waiting a week before choosing sheets. Who would have thought?
