He's surprisingly weaksauce compared to Adramalech and the Undead Dragons, who are supposed to be mid-bosses. X_X Prolly would've been a lot harder without that DSS combo I had on.

True, but his actual attacks are rather sad anyhow... and he transforms into a slow moving creature with lumbering attacks who can cause earthquakes by falling down.

I somehow suspect the story here is that Death been drinking a bit too heavily. Probably why you found that Cleansing amulet, it is actually there for his AA meetings.

If anyone's got any ideas about good capture software my ears are open. I was running on a demo while I was doing this.

It needs to be free, preferably without forcing watermarks into my videos. Camtasia had really good automatic cropping which was useful for recording windowed stuff.

Meanwhile I'll see what I can do on my own..

Meh, I can't really provide any input here, sorry. The only capture software I've ever used is Bandicam, but that has a 10 minute limit and a watermark, though the watermark is very subtle most of the time.
