This is an idea I've been playing around with for some time. Essentially, it's a regular succession game, but in video let's play format, edited down to the best bits by yours truly and starting IMMEDIATELY after the 2014 update, which should make for plenty of hilarious shenanigens!

If you want to take part, let me know and I'll add you to the list! No major experience necessary, just be able to play the game

Bear in mind though, we'll probably have to play with ASCII, considering the tilesets won't have been updated by the time we start. So any ASCII pros will probably be bumped up to the top of the list, to battle their way through ASCII hell before the tilesets are updated and the other players can take over.

That sounds like a swell idea, I'd volunteer but I don't have anything to record the game with that wouldn't destroy my framerate. I'll have to settle for a named dwarf and such.

Dude, do it, even though you may consider yourself "newbie" That's the premise of this succession, we're all learning the new features of the new update. Even if you render the save unrecoverable after your turn and you still record it. It'll be a grand learning experience for us all! Plus the ensuing hilarity of Dwarf Fortress' random !!FUN!!
