Abilities: Jump
Can move across the planet in under a minute when active. Costs all mana, only usable once a day.

SP Moves:
1SP: Incendiaries: bullets do an additional 1d12 damage, with a critical hit setting the enemy target on fire.
2SP: Rapid deploy: Can pelt a shipboard person down to the surface in a whisper pod. This pod hurts a lot if you don't see it coming.
3SP: Regenesis: Can 'regrow' part of itself or Kaiser. 4d5 healing.
4SP: Big Gun: Fires the big cannon repeatedly. Deals 8d8 in an AoE.
5SP: Metal Shred: Only usable when the Nomad is above a metal/nanomush object. Deals 4dSTR in an AoE.

I know, you are the GM and all, but a 200 base-stat PC that with these stats and the big gun thing can just one-shot 8 out of the twelve sultanes easily is, frankly, not okay.

Why are the Sultanes so weak stat-wise that they are in a position to be one-shot by that?

To make it possible for the PCs to kill it.

A good way to resolve this would to give the sultanes justified plot armor. Or, y'know, hold battles where the Nomad can't fly.

Or you know, not allow PCs to eliminate something significantly more powerful than them? I mean, this looks like the sort of situation that would be based on mobilizing resources, using deception and constant evasion rather than some sort of climatic fight.

that thing has a max damage of 250, which equates a health stat of 83.

they are strong, but not that strong.

anyway, 200-base-stat PC is a no go. I don't want to design encounters with the single goal to avoid the rule-breakingness of the Nomad. I designed my battles to be do-able with some effort by the PCs, this just makes them arbitrary. If I redesign them to counter-weigh the nomad, nothing but the nomad would actually be able to do anything, and it becomes a single-player rpg




Okay then, Nomad shoots at Amazeroth, he explodes, well done Smurf, you just won ROTMG?

...I don't think any of the players are well versed in the genre. Also, generally speaking, I would imagine that a magical girl game would not be populated by bitter twenty year-olds and overly immature entities of ancient origin.
