"I got the boring mock trial out of the way by shooting the defendant. And 'apparently' that's illegal.

"...Excuse me while I attempt to find a face to facepalm with.  And call an ambulance."

"I'm less concerned about the defendant's health and more concerned about three months of wasted time, personally."

[Tawa]

The police arrive moments later.

"Unfortunately, he's outta health. That is to say, he's dead, pal. And YOU'RE one of our prime witnesses!"

"Hey, what the heck? Weren't we just in a courtroom? Damn lazy GMs."

"I say we leave which case to pursue first to the jury other people watching the trial thread. Which will it be?"

"Also, what are we going to do with the conflict of interest right there?"

"Clearly, we must hold the trial in a foreign country as an excuse to use aforementioned prosecutor."

"I shall make a decision when either side has three votes to its name."

"Aaand who's doing what again?"

we need a judge to judge the judge. I could do it. but I would need to do some prep so it might be Monday afternoon before we can begin.

alternatively I can be the defense. I might be able to get the judge off the hook on a technicality, or at least lessen his sentence

I witnessed the act so i can help with that, also we should hold the trial in the darkest dungeon. What could possibly go wrong.

"You! You can be the judge. Yes, you."

"Oh, okay.  How does that work?"

You're fired. Judges make decisions, not ask for them...
