Anyway, that was an overly dramatic way of saying "I'm reworking the system massively".

I thought about why the first case was so good in comparison with the later ones. I realized it was based on events that had already happened, that everybody had experienced, not something I just wrote up myself.

So I thought about how to make every case like that.

Ergo, the following changes will be made.

-The "three-attorney system" is out. One attorney.
-Each and every witness is now a player. Each player chooses a witness to play and are given a set of motivations, quirks, their relevant knowledge, and the like.
-One witness is, of course, the culprit. Depending on response to the idea the accused may also be a player.
-A scenario will be written, known only to me; this is how the case truly went down. Each witness knows a snippet of these events. Each witness is instructed on how truthful their character will be about this and how well they can remember the events. The job of the attorneys is to piece everything together.

I'm going to run two "practice trials". One of them will have a player prosecutor, as well; this is why I'm running two.

And, of course, at some point in the actual game there's going to be a no-questions-asked round.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Er, Tawa, why only one attorney, though?  You even went and typed attorneys plural at the end...

Maybe they mean that it won't always be the same attorney?
