Er, Tawa, why only one attorney, though?  You even went and typed attorneys plural at the end...
Maybe they mean that it won't always be the same attorney?
No, they meant a single attorney...

I meant, that there would be a different attorney each trial. Not different ones on the same.

Attorneys as in "prosecutor and defense".

Hmm... that will make it tough to burst through the doors with surprising decisive evidence.

"Hoo-ee! Almost two months! That was quite the hiatus."

"Anywho. Before we begin, I have two announcements to begin."

"First!"

"There are to be no more cases revolving around events in the bizarre, everything-is-in-everything-else crossover style of Turnabout CD-i, The Gold and Silver Turnabout, or The Ultimate Turnabout!"

"I am sorry to say this, but upon review, those cases have been observed to have been distinctly A) less funny B) less structured and C) full of ass-pulls in comparison to Turnabout Tape and perhaps even to Pyramid and Pathos. All crossovers are henceforth to be coincidental or one-shot! Representations by avatars are counted under 'coincidental', of course."

"Secondly! Upon review, the GM has decided to occasionally partake in at least one of the roles in the case aside from judge! This is not to be universal, of course, and the judge will now be taking a more active role in trial proceedings, anyway. Additionally, I, the judge, will be the one submitting and entering all valid evidence, rather than prosecutors pulling paper out of thin air to counter the defense."

"That said! We shall hold but one mock trial, as the prosecutor player motion has already been passed. The upshot? That means those of you on the waitlist will get the first real trial! Additionally, the waitlisters shall make up the jury henceforth unless specified otherwise."

Investigation ~ Opening 2011

"Wow, I forgot what holding court was like! Sure is nice to line 'em up like this!"

"Ahem. First order of business, I have passed around slips of paper provided by my assistant to the witnesses. They read your roles on them. Prosecutor Sparks, you've been given the case summary. Defense? You know what you doing. Point every 'FINGER'. For great justice."

Mock Case Report added to Court Record.
"Prosecution, if you would do the honors and read off the report?"

"Of course, your honor." He opens the report, giving it a once over before reading.

"The Defendant, a one Sum Wun, is charged with the murder of Kilt Gai with a revolver in Generic Convenience Store #11. Not only was the defendant at the scene of the crime ten minutes after the death, but there were no other suspects the police found. IN ADDITION, Sum Wun had something rather odd in his wallet. Kilt Gai's driver License!"

With a dramatic tap of the file, he laid it down, looking to the Defense. "So, what do you say to that?"
