How to turn harder farming off?

Everytime I start Masterwork its the only option thats on by default out of that list. How do I make it off by default like the other Harder options?

Also I could have swore I generated a world with it off, but it seems to be on because my underground crops are taking forever to grow. Any possible way to make them grow normally or do I have to generate another world?

Um.. You turn it off? And yes, I think if you copy your raws into the running save, it will work.
