That might be a hard look to get really. The porportions of beastmen mean that their heads look really big on most human minis, and their arms can look really long compared to the torso (I used a pistol arm for a cultist rough rider conversion and it's a bit bigger than a cultist arm) and of course they're digitigrade so their hooves/feet can't just be stuck onto a trouser leg without something looking a bit off. That and even normal ones in 40k don't usually wear trousers because of all the leg fur.

Really the only base model that was made to look like a dishevelled cultist is the Fantasy Empire Fanatics, but they were made much scrawnier than most GW human minis so they're probably not that useful.

So i’d need space marine sized hobos?
That really could be difficult to find.

But yeah you can see my dichotomy.
If I pull it off i’ll be sure to post them here.
Right after I finish tearfully pulling the wings off all my camo veterans.

You could try a Slugtongue conversion type of thing. Usual conversion was Gor hooves on a necromancer with a beastman skull for a head, but that only worked because Slugtongue was supposed to be withered and gangly, if that's close to the style you're looking for it might be workable.

Idea: Since Tzaangor fluff for 40k has them seeking out relics and artefacts to give to their masters in the hopes of being taught sorcery it might be fun to make a Tzaangor themed around Indiana Jones.

Speaking of Beastmen, Cygors have it pretty rough.

So with Codex: Tzaangors Thousand Sons coming out next week I decided to test out my idea of a brown primal scheme.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I'm pretty happy with it. I think they look much more evil and horrific than they do in blue.

Fleshy tones make the headsplitting one far worse, definitely gets the vibe of evil horror instead of confusing pink and blue things

Put my very first paint on a model this year.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Worrying, as it was my NyR to paint everything I currently own by the end of it, but at least the first step has finally been taken.

Dude, you have 10 months.  You can figure it out.

Try to remember, "finished not perfect."  Better to have a fully painted army with some colors bleeding over, than a mostly unpainted army with a few perfectly painted figures.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

I have a friend who lives by that morality and his models look like pristine dogpoo.
I’d rather spend ages and get it perfect (and fix the bleed on that headdress) than let it go to table looking like wasted plastic.

Yeah, I'm inclined to think that if you spent your money on a bunch of little plastic men, you aught to take as much time as you need to make them all look how you want. Otherwise what was the point of buying physical, unpainted plastic?

The flip side of that is, why did you buy them just to leave them unfinished?

If you half-ass them, they'll never be finished. Besides, you bought them so you could spend your spare time having fun painting them, so really the slower your process (while still being fast enough to be fun), the better value you got.

It’s actually very rare to find someone in the hobby who enjoys painting as much as playing.
It actually still surprises me that of the fandom on B12 there are few painters and even fewer gamers.
