I recall some idiot even giving them recoil in a novel. An autogun sure, a lasgun? Are you on work fungus?

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?
My ship exploded midflight, but all the shrapnel totally landed on Alpha Centauri before anyone else did.  Bow before me world leaders!

A lasgun could have recoil due to it vibrating as it discharges the energy. But that's the only way I can see it happening.

Yeah it's a lot harder to justify the Commissar getting hit in the crossfire

That's why Imperial Guard friendly-fire paperwork comes with a checkbox for "a grot which nobody saw stole a standard-issue knife and stabbed him while we were distracted by being heroically inspired"

After decades of posters warning about Purple Orks assassinating high ranking Imperial Officers, a Kunning Kommando begins to get an idea. They can't catch this purple Ork, so they will become the Purple Ork to become uncatchable

The "purple orks" thing has sometimes made me wonder: we know the orks' gestalt psychic field can make things faster or more durable (or function at all), and it's reasonable to assume that part of the Orks' toughness and resilience derives from their beliefs that "green iz best" and "orks is da biggest an' da strongest" and so forth. So what happens if they agree something doesn't exist? Are purple orks the Ork equivalent of Blanks?

That’s wandering into some scary territory. I don’t know if Orks actually disbelieve anything, their naïveté is so wonderfully destructive.

Plus everyone knows purple Orks are just those un-Orky gitz from da four-armz clan

I feel like some advertising exec somewhere has decided that two part poly-syllablar names are consumer crack somehow but all I can think is how much I don’t want this. Every time I say “boomdakka Snazzwagon” I feel more and more ridiculous.

Honestly boomdakka Snazzwagon sounds like an Ork's attempt to say something badass like "Thunderhawk Gunship."
