The hype is getting more and more palpable.

The F5 situation must be very similiar to what the 40d dwarves experienced when socks got littered on the surface while being restricted to indoor areas.

I hope Toady has a torrent planned or something. You know this is going to be featured on Reddit, PC Gamer and a bunch of other places that will overload the site for sure. Especially with Stonesense and all the other modding activity that makes the game more accessible.

I am well prepared:

My keyboard is built with mechanisms rated for a life cycle of 5 * 10^7 key hits each and the specs claim you can fully bounce the keys down and up again at 200Hz if your fingers move at 40cm/s.
That would be almost 3 days worth of constantly hammering the key 200 times per second until a mechanical failure is likely.

I'll probably come up with some solution to remap other keys to F5 and should therefore be able to continue for a year or so until I run out of functional keys.

Well, my keyboard is almost 10 years old at this point (if the Google searches are anything to go by), soo...
Damn, it's one sturdy keyboard since all keys are still functioning even though it's pretty much the dirtiest thing in this room.
