I mean, I didn't actually eat it, but after a solid few minutes of calling the disinterested puppy in various voices, tapping on the food dish with my hands and trying everything to cajole her into coming and eating it all to no avail, I decided to change tack. I got down on my grovelers, snatched the dish away with a theatrical hiss of "no, it's mine!" and hunched over it with my back to her whilst making all sorts of exaggerated eating noises, jealously guarding my delicious feast from the one supposed to be eating it.   

Almost immediately the puppy is like, "Wait, what? You mean that stuff is actually human food?! Hol' up," taking a few adorable steps forward with a look of growing excitement on her face. I put up a bit more of a resistance, but before long she was digging in with gusto as though that same old dog food was the most amazing thing she'd ever eaten. I couldn't believe that worked.

So.  The topic of why girls in the USA seem to belong to only 2 categories-- Genuine and nice, and total superficial cuntrags-- came up in a discord I am a member of.

I brought up Barbie, and how she's been everything from a Doctor to an Astronaut, but you never really learn anything at all about Ken-- and that Ken is basically just a disposable accessory for Barbie (and that barbie is often just boobs and glitter.)

I mentioned that even astronaut barbie was wears a boobie suit, rather than the shapeless NASA EVA pressure suit-- so I googled her.

First hysterical bought of laughter--- Re-release Astronaut barbie is totally a soviet astronaut barbie instead.

Original Gangsta astronaut barbie is totally a Barbarella barbie instead.

IDK about the categories. I know guys who are nice and guys who are assholes, but the asshole guys tend to just be straight up assholes too.

Maybe the difference is that guys are expected to be more thick-skinned so you get more of that good natured ribbing type stuff. like guys will play practical jokes, and in some nations you actually say to your mates "how are you, you c*nts?" So there's a performative thing where you play at being rivals but not really. Do women actually play-pretend fight with each other or play that many practical jokes? I think it's rarer than it is for men.

It might take a while to work out "this guy's decent" or "this guy is in fact just a c*nt" but they do still fall into categories.
