Apparently, police and security are reporting multiple cases of people wandering around in the no-go area around Fukushima, because the game tells them to go find Pokemon there.

The Japanese government has asked Niantic to please make it a no-go area ingame as well. Tepco, the owner of the reactor has sent a similar request.
It amazes me how there's stories like this. It suggests that people will go somewhere really dumb just because a game says to.

I'm not sure who I find more annoying between the guy who tried to lowball the other guy, or the guy who won't just end the conversation and say there's no deal.

At least Pokemon Go might spur humanity's space exploration.

Sadly, they will. Dumb people not only exist, they're outbreeding smart people.

From working in customer service and trying to keep people out of the bathrooms when cleaning, I think its more accurate that dumb folks simply don't see signs. Ever. It might as well not exist.

I don't always see signs. Actually my method of opening doors consists of running into the door headfirst, frowning when it doesn't open and then actually opening it depending on whether it has a sign or handle or both.

Sounds like the Law and Order: SVU gamer hit piece episode to me. Maybe not that episode, but almost certainly SVU. That show is the single greatest concentration of stupidity produced in the last twenty years.
