I knew an old lady who ignored her guide,
I don't know why she ignored her guide,
I guess she died

So I ordered something in eastern europe, today I check: wednesday... I'm like aaw... then I double check... today?! What??? that package was still in warsaw yesterday?!

So idk I just broke out in hysterical laughter. Had I ordered  from germany the thing would 100% still be rotting in some DHL storage 150km from the webshop. And nevermind finding a belgian webshop that actually carries the item and let's you pay how you want...

So never has this been so apparant - they either want your money or they don't give a fuck. God I love making business with eastern europeans. Talk about work ethics.

God I love making business with eastern europeans. Talk about work Estonians.

Poland is an industrial workhorse, and there's a winged hussar riding the horse.

Also there have been some budget constraints, so they had to reduce the size and weight of the package to save on shipping costs. The item you ordered has been removed in order to lighten the load.

Hehe you laugh but I once trusted an estonian shop enough to make a oldschool bank transfer upfront, and got 2 for the price of 1! (speaking of 800€ pieces of equip)

I always appreciated Oblivion's NPC-on-NPC conversations without really listening to what they were saying, as any relevant information shows up in the quest log or topic list anyway. Then I hear this gem:

Quote
Imperial: "You never leave The Feed Bag hungry!"
High Elf: "They do sell food. Yep. That is a place where you can buy food."

Pie causes outrage, destabilizes the foundation of honest pastry competitions. More at 11.

This is it. This is proof. The British do not qualify as human beings.

Pie is, for the most part, meant to be savoury.

Honestly, I am shocked at the number of people that do not understand the value of a good savory meat pie.

OR, for that matter, the number that fail to appreciate that traditional puddings are not the "congealed starch goop" that is purveyed as pudding here in the states, and can in fact, be salty and savory as well. (See for instance, authentic Yorkshire Pudding, made with beef drippings.)

Or maybe Herr Chickens was taking issue not with the concept of savory pies, but rather with the man's arousal over liver and chonk jelly.

Savory pies are optimal pies. Jellified fat, liver and kidney chunks sounds about as appetising as making a pie from the scrapings of an unwashed biker bar urinal.

Whoever heard of a savory cake?  Such nonsense! :P
