I've never played the Fire Emblem games, so a little explanation might help here.

Fire Emblem Heroes has a system where different characters are color-coded and trump eachother rock-paper-scissors style. Hector wants beat down Roy but can't because of the weapon triangle.

I have no idea what the lore joke is, I only played an NES game and a minute or two of Heroes.

In Heroes, a 5(?)-starred Hector is able to counterattack at any range. (With the right skill unlocked and equipped, of course)

This includes the ability to counterattack ranged units, like Takumi and Robin.

EDIT: Ranged units, like Takumi and Robin, usually don't have very high Defense or Resistance values, making them vulnerable if they're ever attacked. Unless they fight many ranged units, this seldom happens due to the nature of a ranged unit.

Spoiling the Fire Emblem Awakening and Fates supports for myself since I doubt I'll ever get a 3DS and a copy of either game for a good few years.

Speaking of supports, I fucking love Azama - he's provided at least five or six quotes for the "Voices of The Net" collection already! Especially some of the marriage proposal lines.

EDIT: Most character pairings (romantic or not) have at least one humorous moment in them. Some of Saizo's supports are kind of like having a ninja Batman/Boone being shipped with some of the less serious characters (with naturally hilarious results).
